Webster Vienna is located in Palais Wenkheim, a fully renovated 19th century palais, just a few steps from the city center.

Our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology. State-of-the-art facilities in the video con ference room enable the delivery of multimedia lectures that simultane- ously involve students from multiple Webster campuses. Campus-wide WIFI and computer labs keep students connected.

The campus features a modern Library and Learning Center with space for students to study on their own as well as rooms for groupwork. In the library you will find more than 14,000 books specializing in Webster’s different areas of interest, as well as business magazines and newspapers. Additionally, our online resources in- clude over 77,000 e-books, hundreds of thousands of academic journal articles, periodicals and much more. Reference librarians are happy to answer your questions, drop by anytime or reserve your personal appointment online. 14 computer stations are accessible for students to perform research with both printed and electronic re- sources. Students have access to three project rooms ideal for group work and discussions. The Library and Learning Center ( LLC ) is supported by the Writing Center and the Quant Center. Both centers provide free guidance to our students mathematics and writing.

Further resources include our Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience and Behavior Lab (CAN BE), which allows for research collaboration with international and local partners. In the lab, you can carry out physiological recording and data processing, behavioral testing, electro- encephalography, electromyography, startle-reflex modu- lation and much more.

If you need housing, our dormitory, Residence Am Augarten, is conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from campus.

As a student, you will be able to attend frequent guest lectures, conferences and symposiums hosted by the university. In many cases, students are also involved in the organization of these dynamic events. Previous events have included a student-run Model UN on 21st century energy issues, which drew participants from over 100 countries, a pre-election panel discussion with local politi-cians, presentations of research findings in the cutting- edge research performed at Webster, and guest lectures with topics covering media, business, psychology, global affairs and current events.

We benefit from Vienna’s location as a hub for diplomacy and home to international corporations, and many of the lectures held on campus feature business leaders and diplomatic officials.

Our campus is also a central information point for those outside the university. Many of our events are open to the public.

In addition, all our business programs include a one-credit course on effective career management. In this online course, Career Success for the 21st Century, students receive up to four hours of one-on-one sessions with an expert career coach.

Mentoring ProgramThe Webster Mentoring Program provides an opportunity for students and alumni to connect through a positive one-on-one mentoring relationship. Over a period of six months, students have the chance to meet with a successful alumni mentor to gain an insight into and discuss career paths with someone who has already been there. The mentoring program is a global initiative open to students and alumni worldwide*. It gives students the unique possibility of broadening their network and connecting with a mentor who is working in both the field and geographical area in which they are interested. Mentors act as sparring partners and benefit by devel-oping their coaching skills, networking with potential employees, and strengthening their visibility.
