Logbook:

Homework: 10 Marks - Oral, Reading and Writing Provide a maximum of 10 points each week in the logbook for homework. If you have both writingand reading log give 5 points each.

Class

Participation - 10 Marks

Based on how students are listening, participating, cooperating, respectful, and behaving in the class.

Attendance - 10 Marks

Attendance will be marked by the Attendance Officer. ITA does not have excused absences. Anabsence is considered as absence irrespective of the reason. Students who attended all 32 classeswill earn perfect attendance trophy. If a student arrives late by more than 30 minutes and leavesearly by 30 minutes before class end time, he or she will receive only partial credit for attendancethat day.

Report Cards:

Attendance 10% in the final grade Homework 10% in the final grade Class Participation and Reading Conversation -- 10% in the final grade Average of all Quiz/Test -- 50% in the final grade Final exam -- 20% in the final grade

For Advanced Basic, Grade 1 and up

Use the same grading scale to grade weekly reviews for Basic 1 & 2 also.

Homework:If a student is absent, he or she can submit the homework the following week for full credit. Ifstudent is absent for more than one week, all the missed homework is due when student returns.

Tests:ITA grading policy is to allow one make up test day for regular tests if a student is absent. If themakeup test is not taken on the following week students are given a “zero”
