Subject choices for Grade 9 and Grade 10 We offer Grade 9 and 10 students 5 different subject packages. In order to comply with IB requirements and those of the Ministry of Education, there are some mandatory subjects. However, some subjects are optional depending on the student’s interest, ability and future career goals. The following subjects are mandatory:

Language A: English (and Arabic for the native Arabic speakers) Language B: French / German (and Arabic for the non-native Arabic speakers)

Arts: Visual Arts

Sciences: Biology

Mathematics

Physical Education

Technology: Information Technology The following subjects are optional:

Humanities: • History and / or Geography

And an extra subject from the following three subject groups: • Science: Chemistry and / or Physics • Technology: Design Tech • Arts: Performing Arts
