1. Choose American artist for inspiration 2. Create and print a word document that

includes- Artists Name Date lived (1927-1999) Any other important information about artist

(technique, style, media…) A picture/pictures of examples of the artists work Title of the work of art

Procedure:

Create a work of art that includes your name as the subject of the work

Use the style or technique of the artist you have chosen to complete the work.

Size must be 9” x 12”-12” x 18” Media may be: pencil, watercolor, tempera or

collage Teacher must “okay” your idea before you

begin 3-5 class periods are allotted for this project to be completed
