President’s Message For August.
Sunshine Report
If anyone has information re: a club member who is ill, or needs congratulating, etc. contact Jackie Osborne @ 273-7571.
Summer will soon be over. You best be planning on at-
tending a few great tours left this summer.
Carl’s Powerhouse tour in Folsom is on the 14th. Meet at
Kmart at 10AM at this time Carl will explain where there is
good parking in Folsom, and the plans for the day. Plan on
eating lunch and browsing around town first, then the Pow-
erhouse tour will follow. Carl will also be explain where to
meet for the Tour. Call Carl if you have questions.
We also have the Empire Mine Picnic on the 24th. This is
always a fun day!
Now don’t forget our August Meeting Auction. It’s a great
chance to clean out your closets. Get rid of all your once
thought “treasures” that are now collecting dust. Share
them with someone else!
Also for the Auction, produce and desserts are always a hit
with our members. So get picking and baking.
Steve Straw reported that Ardy Tobin and Ray Hren are pro-
gressing very well! Keep up the good work you two!
By the way, have you been keeping your radiator topped
off??
Take care,
Bob

Coming to a store near you!
Krippled Fishing Lures, USA, was started in 1992 to distribute the Krippled Fishing Lures line of Salm-
on tackle in the US. Krippled Fishing Lures is a Canadian manufacturer of Salmon tackle that started
production in 1964.
Before I came along, they had never sold tackle in the US market. I am the sole licensed distributor for
the US, and I have wholesale sales in 26 states right now.

EDITOR’S NOTES:
Hi all!
Did you know LinQ was closed!!! Yep
they walked away leaving the turtles
and fishies to die!!! Also all the food
rotting in the kitchen! Dang, I really
liked that place and the people were
nice to Ron and I. Oh well! I guess
it’s the Royal Dragon now!
The Summer Nights in Nevada City
have been going pretty good, still not
the participation I’d like to see.
People need to become more active
with the club, service/support keeps
it strong!
Hopefully you are thinking of which
position on the Board you will be
wanting to hold this coming year
(2014)
Please check to see if you have re-
freshments for the next meeting.
See you on the road!
Sharon Pierce
PS: Swap Meet at Arco on the
