Let us take you on a walk down a historical isle , your go-to publication for all things nostalgicand memorable. So, when we say we are going to talk about fashion, it is no surprise that itsomehow always seems to repeat itself. For example, who ever thought the 70′s mom-jean waitedshort would be so popular with the young ladies once again {or for that matter who decided it wasback}?

Times were on the tougher end of the spectrum for almost all ladies getting married between thesedecades. Wartime woes brought simpler designs that used predominately silk and rayon, lace was{sadly} held as a luxury. The trains were shortened and a more modest use of extravagant fabricswas considered to be the norm.

rebellious women who wore peasant dresses or pants!

This Monique Lhuillier frock is the perfect mix of 60′s trendsetter and a modern, 21st centurylady.

Big, loud and over the top; it was the 80′s. Lacey frills, puffed sleeves and elaborateembellishments came back into style as Princess Diana swept captured the affection of the entireworld in her decadent 25ft train.

A more refined take on the 80′s can be captured subtly in an artfully decorated, beaded weddinggown.
