Electronic governance is adopted by countries across the globe to introduce and incorporate technology into governmental processes. In a fas t-growing and demanding economy like India,

e-governance has become essential.

Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA) was created as an autonomous Society regis tered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Regis tration Act to align and implement the National e-Governance Plan.The mission of TNeGA is to improve the quality of life of our citizens through efficient delivery of Government services using the tools of Information Technology, and to create cos t effective, scalable solutions for Governance, making full use of emerging technologies like

We celebrated our firs t anniversary! A celebration with an anniversary cake, fes tive decorations, prizes, return gifts, and few activities for employees to enjoy. Our CEO Mr. Santosh K Misra joined us and offered inspiring remarks on the pas t, present and future of our organisation.

India’s bigges t ‘e-Governance’ annual event, with the theme “Predictive Governance, Empowering Citizens” held on October 4, 2019, at Hotel Leela Palace, Chennai.

CII CONNECT 2019INAUGURATION OF 18TH EDITION OF CII CONNECT 2019.

The 18th Edition of CIICONNECT2019, an international Conference and Exhibition on ICT with the theme “Technology @ The Heart of India’s $5 Trillion Economy” organized by the Government of Tamil Nadu along with CII and STPI.

Hon’ble Chief Minis ter launched 4 important Digital initiatives of TNeGA, namely,

Research Paper on ‘Automatic License Plate Recognition for Indian Roads’.

Arihant Patawari, Principal Architect AI/ML, TNeGA, published a research paper

on ‘Automatic License Plate Recognition for Indian Roads Using Fas ter-RCNN’.

It was presented by Praveen Ravirathinam

(co-author) at the 11th International Conference on Advanced Computing (ICoAC)

held in Chennai.

Dr Naveen Ashish, Chief Data Sciences Officer, InferLink Corporation, has been appointed as our Honorary Advisor to TNeGA.
