registered with the State Government and contractors of equivalent grade / class registered with Central

Government / MES / Railways to be eventually drawn up in PWD F-2 (Now P-1) form for execution of

civil works, on production of definite proof from the appropriate authority. But successful bidder of other

State / MES / Railway / CPWD in equivalent rank has to register under the State PWD before signing the

agreement . The bidders may submit bid for the following works.

2. Bid documents consisting of specifications, the schedule of quantities and the set of terms and condition

of contract and other necessary documents can be seen in all the offices issuing the documents as specified in Col.-5 above and in the office of the under signed during office hours every day except on Sunday and Public holidays till last date of sale and receipt of the tender papers. Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address.

3. Bids must be accompanied with earnest money deposit (Bid security ) the amount specified for the work

in the table Col. No.6 above in shape of NSC/KVP/deposit receipt from schedule bank (Valid for minimum one year from date of receipt ) / Post office saving pass book (valid for minimum one year from the date of receipt ) duly pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, (R&B)Division, Dhenkanal . Bidders desirous to hire machineries or equipments from out side the State are required to furnish 2 % of the amount put to tender as bid security. N.B :- Bank draft / Pay orders or Banker cheques from any schedule Bank in favour of Executive Engineer shall not be considered as EMD.

4. . The sale and receipt of the bid documents shall start from 10.30 AM of 16.02.2015 to 26.02.2015 during office hours and close on dated 26.02.2015 up to 3.00 PM Bids shall be sold and received in the office as stated in the Col.- 5 above as well in the office of the under signed.

5. The bid will be opened on dtd 27.02.2015 at 11.00 AM in the office of the under signed in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend . If the office happens to be closed on the last date of sale and receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be sold and received on the next working day at the same time and venue and opening of the bids accordingly extended . Similary if the office happens to be closed on the date of opening the bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time and venue.

6. Bids must be delivered in the tender box having Identification No. DKL (R&B) – 1.

7. Bidding documents requested by mail will be dispatched by registered / speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs.500.00 (Rupees five hundred )only over the cost of the document . The Executive Engineer will not be held responsible for postal delay if any. 8. The tender should be accompanied with required amount of EMD, the attested true copies of the valid registration certificate, valid VAT clearance certificate and PAN card which are mandatory and the original certificate are to be produced within three working days of opening of the tender before Executive Engineer, Dhenkanal(R&B)Division, Dhenkanal for verification other wise his / her bids shall be declared as non-responsive and thus liable for rejection. Also the tenderer should satisfy the eligibility criteria, provided in the relevant clauses of the bid documents (DTCN) 09 . Bidder can submit one tender paper for a particular work. Submission of more than one tender paper by a bidder for a particular tender will be liable for rejection of all such tender papers.

10. Engineer contractor who desires to avail the facility of exemption of EMD is required to submit an affidavit to the effect that, he / she has not yet availed the facility for more than two works during the current financial year. The name of the work and the authority to whom the tender has been submitted must be mentioned in the affidavit failing which the tender will be treated as normal and can not avail EMD exemption. 11. 12. In case the contractor propose to engage machineries and equipments as asked for in the tender documents owned or hired but deployed out side State he / she is required to furnish additional 1 % EMD /

Bid security. The entire bid security including the additional bid security shall stand forfeited in case the contractor fails to mobilize the machineries within 30 days from the date of execution of agreement. 13. The contractor intending to hire / lease equipments / machineries are required to furnish proof of owner ship from the company or person providing equipments / machineries in hire / lease along with contract agreements / lease deed and duration of such contracts. The contracts / agreements / lease deed should be on long terms basis for a minimum period of 06 ( Six) months from the date of receipt of Bid documents ). 14. The enclosures other than the D.T.C.N. should be page numbered and signed by the contractor

15. Total No. of enclosures submitted by him / her in Numbers and words as per relevant clause of D.T.C.N.
