Subject:- Appointment of candidates to the Junior Scale of the J&K Administrative Service, the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service under direct recruitment quota through the Combined Competitive Examination, 2010.

Pursuant to the selection made on the basis of Combined Competitive Examination-2010 and the recommendations of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, sanction is hereby accorded to the temporary appointment of 182 candidates, as per the details indicated in

Annexure - I to this order, against the posts in the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (Gazetted) Service and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service carrying the pay scale of t 9300-34,800 with grade pay of t 4800 with immediate effect.

The candidates allotted to the Junior Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, hailing from Kashmir and Jammu Divisions, shall report in J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development, SrinagarIJammu

respectively. However, the candidates hailing from Ladakh region may join either at IMPA, Srinagar or IMPA, Jammu.

The candidates allotted to the J&K Police (Gazetted)

Service and the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service shall report to the Director General of Police, J&K and the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, J&K respectively.

The candidates shall be allowed to join only on production of the following certificates in original:-

(i) Qualification Certificate (ii) Date of Birth Certificate (iii) Permanent Resident Certificate

(iv) Relevant Category Certificate

(v) Any other certificate required under rules

The candidates who fail to join within a period of 21

days from the date of issuance of this order shall forego their right

to the appointment which shall be cancelled forthwith.

The salary of the appointees shall be drawn and disbursed to them only after receipt of the verification report from

the verifying agency, viz. CID and production of an affidavit (as per Annexure - I1 to this order). I n case, any of the candidate is adversely reported upon by the verifying agency viz. U D or the relevant category certificate is found not to be genuine/valid,

helshe shall have no claim to hold the post to which appointed and hislher appointment shall stand automatically cancelled without any further notice.

The appointees shall be on probation for a period of

two years during which they shall undergo such training and pass such Departmental Examination as has been prescribed under rules.

It is further ordered that the names in the appointment order shall not be construed to be in order of their seniority which shall be determined by their respective cadre controlling

departments strictly in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

The appointment/allocation of the candidates to the respective services shall be subject to the outcome of the writ petition(s), if any pending adjudication before any Competent 7 court.
