Technical Specification for XYZ-axis manipulator for Radiography

A high precision automation system has to be designed, fabricated and

installed for holding and positioning of Flat panel detector. This system

consists of following components:

1. Detector Holding Fixture: O t no. orThis fixture to hold detector shall be made up of SS sheet of 1 manipulatormm thickness. Plates shall be screwed to form a rectangular

holder with necessary cut outs on the side wall to allow cables

to pass. Front side shall have openable shutter type of

arrangement. Shutter front door shall be made up of lead sand-

witched with SS sheet. Lead sheet of thickness 2 mm shall be

filled into the cavity made between SS sheets. The exact

dimension of the detector will be provided to the selected

vendor with the work order.
