MINUTES OF DISTRICT LEVEL MONITORING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON29TH DECEMBER 2009 AT 1000 HOURS UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OFDEPUTY COMMISSIONER TAWANG TO REVIEW THE PROGRESS OF PROJECTSUNDER ONE TIME ACA, SPA, NEC, NLCPR, RDIf, Pi--1 PACKAGE, ETCIMPLEMENTED AT TAWANG DISTRICT.

Shri Gamli Padu, Deputy Commissioner,Tawang took a meeting on29th December 2009 at 1000 hours in his office chamber with concernedadministrative officer and implementing agencies to review the progress· ofprojects under One Time ACA, SPA, NEC, NLCPR, RDIF, PM Package, etcimplemented at Tawang District.

After threadbare discussion following points were emerged forfollow-up action.

a. Schemes shculd be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

b. The completed building projects are to be handed overto the concerned beneficiary department immediatelyand a copy 0f the handing and taking over note shouldbe submitted to the Deputy Commissioner.

c. The provision for Transmission & Distribution line /transformer for supply of power are absent in newprojects like Ropeway from Tawang Monastery to AniGonpa, Residential accommodation for General pool atTawang, Office Building of Deputy Commissioner, DUDAcolony, etc. which will affect proper utilization of theproject. These are to be identified by the electricaldepartment and necessary action should be taken forsmootn supply or power to these new buildings.

Ad.The electrical department is also to identify the surplus4 ower generation by the hydels and make provision for

drawing such surplus power to needy locations.

f. Detail list of bridges maintained under the projectProcurement of wire rope for emergency bridges inremote area in Arunachal Pradesh under SPA is to be

submitted by EE PWD Jang Division.g. Proper maintenance of Assets Register.h. To maintain the quality of work, the civil works

(especially concrete works) for some of the projectslocated in higher altitude are stopped from Novemberonwards because of extreme cold climatic conditions.

-i. The balance fund for some of the schemes beingimplemented are not released which are affecting theprogress of works.

4. The current status of schemes implementing by variousdepartments are placed at annexure "A".

5. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
