Centuries for the best Diamond occurrences.
World known Diamonds like Kohinoor, Peter Regent and hope
from the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Diamond areas are spread over 50,000 sq.km. under
different environs of the State.

Gold Occurrences:
• Southern extensions of Kolar schist belt,
Chittoor district
• Ramagiri schist belt.
• Jonnagiri schist belt in sheared granodiorite,
a new geological setup not known earlier.
Estimated resources in Jonnagiri:
1. Dona Temple block 0.70 Mt. averaging 4.65 g/t and 2.11m
thickness (up to 150 m depth)
2. Dona East block 7.93 Mt.at 0.4g/t cut-off up to 180 m
depth
3. Dona South block 1.113 Mt.
4. Dona North block 0.098 Mt.
