•To coordinate and consolidate government initiatives in green products and services development in Malaysia;

•To increase awareness and knowledge to the public sector, private sector, and society in conserving environmental through sustainable consumption and production (SCP);

•To develop guidelines and procedures to the industries for producing local green products and services; and

•To build capacity, skill and expert for competitive green production to the industries.

Objectives of MyHIJAU Programme


MyHIJAU Procurement is one government initiative towards the development of green procurement in Malaysia.

The program covers :- •promotion activities , •public awareness, •knowledge, •capacity building, •guidance and advice, •development of guidelines, procedures and manuals, •study and •preparation of performance reports.
