Declared Dams Order 2020

under the

Dams Safety Act 2015

Dams Safety NSW, in pursuance of section 5(1) of the Dams Safety Act 2015, makes the following Order.

Dated 25 February 2020

Explanatory note

Clause 4(1)(d) of the Dams Safety Regulation 2019 provides that a dam or proposed dam

that is a prescribed dam within the meaning of the Dams Safety Act 1978 immediately before

the repeal of that Act is a dam that may be declared to be a declared dam for the purposes of

the Dams Safety Act 2015.

This order declares all dams in Schedule 1 to this Order, being those that were prescribed

dams within the meaning of the (now repealed) Dams Safety Act 1978 immediately before

the repeal of that Act, as declared dams for the purposes of the Dams Safety Act 2015.
