governing's women in government leadership program
TRANSCRIPT
Supporting and encouraging women’s leadership in state and local government The Governing Institute’s Women in Government Leadership Program establishes an ongoing, bipartisan, national peer network of elected women leaders in state and local government.
The 25 women in the program’s Class of 2016 are elected officials from state, county and city governments around the nation.
We invite companies, nonprofits and foundations who support the development of women leaders and who want to be known as champions for elected women officials at the state and local level to join us as sponsors.
This year’s class of women — state legislators, mayors, CFOs, county and city commissioners — will come together three times during the year for leadership development, peer support and job critical training. And they’ll serve as mentors for future generations of women to serve in government.
Show your support alongside these powerful women and be part of this yearlong program and influential network of women leaders.
