GOVERNEMNT NOTICE

To help save the economy, the Government will announce next

month that the Immigration Department will start deporting

senior (instead of illegals) in order to lower Social Security and

Medicare costs.

Older people are easier to catch and will not remember how to

get back home.

Be sure to send this notice to your friends and family, so they

know what happened to you.

I started to cry when I thought of you. Then it dawned on me, I’ll

PRESIDENT’S REPORT

I hope everyone is keeping safe and staying home during the Corona Virus. Dogs NSW our governing body has now closed all training, shows and obedience trials until the end of June. When you are out exercising your dog, please remember to keep your distance from other people. I would like to thank the members who wished me well during my knee replacement operation in March. It has been a slow recovery. I would also like to wish Louise Patterson after her recent knee replacement surgery and Jan Baker following her back surgery. There is no more news at present re our relocation to the other side of the grounds. A lot of work needs to be completed before we can be moved. Our Obedience Trial in June, has been cancelled due to the virus and we are hoping our Championship Shows on the 5th & 6th September, 2020 can still go ahead. I wish everyone a safe return hopefully in July and look forward to our training resuming. We will keep everyone posted on our Facebook page regarding when training will resume. Regards

This is a bit of fun

I’m normally a social girl, I love to meet my mates, but lately with the virus

here, we can’t go out the gates.

You see we are the ‘oldies’ now, we need to stay inside. If they haven’t seen

us for a while, they’ll think we’ve up and died.

They’ll never know the things we did before we got this old. There wasn’t

any Facebook. So not everything was told.

We may have seen sweet old ladies, who would never be uncouth, but we grew

up in the 60’s – If only you knew the truth.

There was sex and drugs and rock ‘n roll, the pill and miniskirts. We

smoked we drank, we partied and were quite outrageous first.

Then we settled down and got married and turned into someone’s mum,

Somebody’s wife then nana. Who on earth did we become?

We didn’t mind the change of pace, because our lives were full, but to burry

us before we are dead, is like a red rag to a bull.

So here you find me stuck inside for four weeks, maybe more. I finally

found Myself again, then had to close the door.

It didn’t really bother me, I’d while away the four. I’d bake for the family,

but I’ve got no bloody flour.

New Netflix is just wonderful. I like a gutsy thriller. I’m swooning over

Idris, or some random sexy killer.

At least I’ve got a stash of booze, for when I’m being idle. There’s wine and

whiskey, and even gin if I’m feeling suicidal!!

So let’s all drink to lockdown, to recovery and health, and hope this bloody

virus doesn’t decimate our wealth.

We’ll all get through the crisis, and be back to join our mates. Just hoping

I’m not far too wide to fit through the flaming gates.
