FUNCTIONS OF GOVERNMENTS

Page 5: Govermental Systems

ECONOMY

Page 6: Govermental Systems

Capitalism is one a way of there economy works decided by the leader it self. In this way citizen can have there own buiseness and they can buy there own house and pay freely based on there needs. But when it comes to health or there needs the goverment will not really care. Capitalism is mostly a very free and independent way of economy. One the examples are Russia, in Russia people are free to make big industries so mostly the citizen are rich.

CAPITALISM

POSITIVE (+) NEGATIVE (-)

• People will be free and they can do anything they want freely.

• People can buy things they need anytime.

• Goverment does not get many work.

• Citizen get to be more independent not depending on their leader.

• Not all people are balance so some people can be poor and some people can be rich.

• When it come to a big problem they must solve it by them slef so it’s more complicated.

• Goverment can be more careless.

Page 7: Govermental Systems

Socialism is where goverments get to have the bigs industries and provides, education, savety such as police army and ect, health , farms. And the citizen just own smaller industries like a small shops. One of the example is Norway, Norway’s government have big industries like factories or international brand factories.

SOCIALISM

Positive (+) Negative (-)

• Citizen can have an equal rights.

• government can rule or get money more then the citizen.

• Citizen can have there own farm so it’s easier for them to eat.

• easier for the citizen to live because the government help them.

• Only the government who can be rich .

• the people will not have many money so it’s hard for them to buy things they need.

• Governments need more effort to make the citizen needs fulfilled.

• Can impact stealing or corruption.

Page 8: Govermental Systems

Communism is almost the same as socialism. But in communism government will do all the work such as having all the industries farm and others. So the citizen or the people needs are all under controlled by the government. The government provides building too like hospital, school and some houses. For example in Cuba governments provide school for kids and hospital every where.

COMMUNISM

Positive (+) Negative(-)

• Citizen does not need to do many things.

• They all have an equal rights and responsibility.

• Does not spend many money because it’s already been provided.

• Since all of it is provided by the government it’s easier for the government to control or lead the country .

• Citizen can be spoiled .• Citizen don’t have the

experience to work.• Citizen don’t have much money.• government control every thing

so they cannot be so free.

POLITICS

Page 10: Govermental Systems

Dictatorship is one of the most violent politics made. A leader in the country doese not care about the citizen’s opinion. It is almost like a king so that leader tell us to do this and we most do it. That leader rule every single bits from savety to citizens needs. When he or she dishanord the leader he or she can be killed by the soldier. For example in Israel the citizen needs to obey the leader.

DICTATORSHIP

Positive ( + ) Negative (-)

• the leader can easily lead the country as he wants.

• there will not have many problems.

• the safety of the city is very good.

• citizen can learn how to respect the leader.

• things work well as planned by the leader almost all the time.

• Citizen cannot have all there rights fulfilled.

• Citizen cannot go anywhere.• Citizen are not free to do

anything.• Citizen can be easily

threatened.

Page 11: Govermental Systems

Totalitarian is a way that include political party. Political part is a group of leader in one country and get a commend form the government. The political party cant give advise or opinion to the government only the government who gives commend to them. One of the example is China. But China only have one political party that gets command from the government and that political party cannot go out from the country. This way can also be used when selecting the leader.

TOTALITARIAN

Positive(+) Negative (-)

• government will not have big worried or jobs.

• It can be a manageable country because there is a government and a political party.

• Citizen can get what they want because they are free and not much rules.

• Country can develop better cause they divide jobs in political parties.

• people in the political party cannot be freely share ideas and cant go out for vacation.

• political party will mostly get the jobs to handle the problem so it will be a little tiring.

• when it come to a big problem it would be hard to be decided because there will be no help from the political party.

Page 12: Govermental Systems

Theocracy is when the rules are based on religious rules. Mostly this happened based on the most religion of the citizen. Like for example Iran most of the citizen are Islamic so they use the rules such as they must pray during noon and at sunset. Government will also let him self to allow people to do what the religion supposed to do. But for some who don’t have the same religion they can freely not do the rituals.

THEOCRACY

Positive (+) Negative(-)

• If we are in the same religion we can have and share the same rights and responsibility.

• the country can be religious and if the government are also the same religion so the government cannot be selfish and share the same thing with the people.

• Citizen can be more free and not to captured.

• there will be no big problem about religion since everyone is the same.

• people who don’t have the same religion can be confused or don’t get to use to it.

• Even we are out side from the country we still need to try to worship or not been punished.

Page 13: Govermental Systems

Monarchy is one of the oldest politics that we use. Monarchy only been used for a couple countries or city. Monarchy is when the country is ruled by the queen and king representative. All the citizen must obey every thing they said and when they are command to do something they must do it even though it’s challenging. One of examples is like a place called Jordan.

MONARCHY

Positive (+) Negative (-)

• Every one can gets an equal rights except the royal family.

• The city or country can be stable as the king and queen says.

• Most of the buildings and health care are provided so it’s easy for them.

• The royal family can get anything they want.

• Sometimes the royal family can be selfish.

• The citizen cannot be better then the queen and king so they are poor.

• Some of the person who became the slave are tortured.

• It will be hard for the king and queen to solve problem if they don’t have money cause they don’t have good background of leader ships.

Page 14: Govermental Systems

Republic is a fair way where the citizen can choose. By dividing them self into big groups and one representative voter who will be the leader for a given times. Like in USA they are divided into states and one of them are representative of being the government like Barak Obama.

REPUBLIC

Positive (+) Negative (-)

• Citizen can get to choose the right leader.

• It can be equal for everyone to pick.

• The leader can have self confidence from the voters.

• Since the citizen who vote so it can be more easy to organize the country.

• For some people who they vote are not chosen they can have fight and make problems.

• It will be more harder to controll when there is many states or islands.

Page 15: Govermental Systems

AUTHORITY

Page 16: Govermental Systems

Revolutionary is one of the way to elect a government by starting to a large or small groups like military services. That small or large must be trusted and that is when people elect them self to be the government. This happened in USA and France.

REVOLUTIONARY

Positive (+) Negative (-)

• The one is elected by the people are experienced and capable to do it.

• Government can lead the country well with the help because they are in one group,

• Sometime when the government is from military they can be autocratic or sometimes can make problems.

Page 17: Govermental Systems

This almost the same as totalitarian because it includes groups. But this time the groups are divided in different interest. And mostly the interest of economic and leading people. In the group there will be the leader group and that leader group one of them can be elected for bring a president or government.

OLIGARCHY/PLUTOCRACY

Positive (+) Negative (-)

• They can work together and solve problem easily.

• People can go to places or groups based on the interest so it’s easy for them.

• It’s fair for them so if the don’t like a place they can change to another place that is there interest.

• The president can be selfish by ruling the country the same as the interes but not all the citizen likes it.

Page 18: Govermental Systems

Democracy is a fair way to elect the president. Citizen who lived there for along time is allowed to choose the president they want or the good enough or. There will be the nominees of the president.

DEMOCRACY

Positive (+) Negative (-)

• People get to choose the right government them self so it’s fair.

• People can have the equal right cause they can get the good government.

• People get government they want so maybe it’s easier to manage.

• Some people can be jealous when the president it’s not picked.
