Director Colleen Wilson, standing by the Liberty Bell, talks

Several DAR members were at the Patriot Grave Marking Service where the Grandfather of
President Abraham Lincoln was honored. This gave our chapter the opportunity to thank some
of these ladies by presenting them with the SAR/DAR Medal of Appreciation.

Kentucky Derby Pegasus Parade
Five chapter members (Reggie Roberson, Chuck Scott, Scott Giltner, John
Test and Charlie Scott) joined 30 other compatriots in taking part in the
1.7 mile Kentucky Derby Pegasus Parade. Rev. Forrest Chilton provided
water and transportation for the SAR members who came from eleven states.
