That’s because his team follows leads by usingtechnology like heat detectors and thermal imaging cameras.The team examines paw prints and also uses audio of theowner’s voice in an attempt to lure the animal out of its hidingplace. While based in Shanghai, he has also helped find lostpets in other parts of the country.Playful feline: Ahmet Selki of Istanbul, Turkey, used a cat’santics for inspiration in his job, which is helping to care forhomeless pets. Selki noticed a stray cat hovering around thestore window of a dress shop. The cat did not seem interestedin the clothing, but rather with the colorful decorative balls onthe floor of the display. The kitty slipped into the store andimmediately started playing with the balls. Although the store’semployees were hoping to attract human customers, they didn’tmind that the stray had found a place to play. Selki intends to buysome balls for the animals he works with.Impersonating a pilot: If you want to get priority boardingon an airplane, try becoming a pilot. Or, as in RajanMahbubani’s case, try dressing up as one. Mahbubani, who isfrom New Delhi, India, successfully pulled this trick numeroustimes, which enabled him to enjoy many airline perks. He final-ly got caught when trying to board a flight from Delhi toKolkata when airline personnel got suspicious. Mahbubaniconfessed that his uniform was fake and that he was not a realpilot. Unfortunately, he won’t enjoy many perks if he goes toprison for impersonating a pilot!
