This historic villa was built in 1910 by an award winning Italian architect who was commissioned by a prominent family from Cannes, the Picauds. Dr. Picauds was the mayor of Cannes during the 1930’s and this villa remained in the family’s ownership until 2001 when it was acquired by the present owners who have restored it to its full splendor with the addition of state of the art amenities for the 21st century luxury living.
All of the spaces are beautifully furnished with antique furniture, crystal chandeliers, original paintings and antique rugs which complement the original, ornate crown moldings of the walls and ceilings creating a sumptuous feel to the spaces. There is a large entertaining space comprised of a pillared reception hall opening onto a library, dining room, drawing room and an American pool room. The terrace off the dining room leads down to a 23 meter wide terrace with access to the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

Second Floor: There are three double bedrooms, which all have access to the large terrace surrounding the home, and two bathrooms. The Master bedroom has a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom and the second bathroom is to be shared by the two remaining bedrooms (one of which has a private seating area out on the terrace.
