Terms and Conditions of Entry

Entry into Goosebumps Competition is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions set out below.

Eligibility The promotion is open to all citizens of Australia 15 years and over. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Method of entry

To enter, participants must answer the following question:

What is your favourite Goosebumps scary character and why?

All answers can be emailed to competitions@scholastic.com.au.

Scholastic asks each entrant to seek approval from their parent or guardian before entering the

competition.

Please note: Scholastic Australia will not pass on your personal details to any third party.

Personal details are only used for the identification of winners.

Duration of promotion

The promotion commences on 20 January 2016 and closes on Wednesday 10 February 2016, at

midnight AEST.

Judging

Judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises on weekly for three weeks. This is a game of

skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be judged on its merit.

The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on

every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

Entry To enter, a child must email competitions@scholastic.com.au with his/her answer to ‘What is your favourite Goosebumps scary character and why?’

Date of judging

Wednesday of each week for three weeks.

GRAND PRIZE

Winners will receive double in-season Pass to Goosebumps

Prize Pool: To the value of $41. The winner will be notified via email. The winner’s names will

also be published on the Scholastic Competitions website at scholastic.com.au/competitions

Classification of Ticket

The content is mild in impact.

The impact of PG (Parental Guidance) classified films and computer games should be no higher than mild, but they may contain content that children find confusing or upsetting and may require the guidance of parents and guardians. They may, for example, contain classifiable elements such as language and themes that are mild in impact.

It is not recommended for viewing or playing by persons under 15 without guidance from parents or guardians.

Validity of Ticket

Valid from opening day at participating cinemas. Admit 2 Present this ticket at the box office and you will be entitled to two tickets for one session only of “GOOSEBUMPS” (PG). Valid even with “No Free Tickets” restriction. Not valid all day Tuesday (or cinema discount days), Saturdays after 5pm or Public Holidays. Not valid at Village Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX or Digital 3D, Reading Gold Lounge, 3D, Titan XC or Premium, EVENT Cinemas Gold Class, VMAX, & 3D, Greater Union & Birch Carroll & Coyle Gold Class, VMAX & 3D, HOYTS Xtremescreen, Digital 3D, HOYTS IMAX®, HOYTS LUX or Bean Bag Cinema, AMC Cinelounge, Dendy Premium. Not for re-sale. This ticket must be taken as offered and is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.

Postage

The promoter will be responsible for delivery of the prize to the winner. Delivery of the prize

may take up to two weeks for movie ticket.

Other All elements of the prize are subject to availability with no cash alternative and the prize is non-

transferable and non-refundable. If the prize or portion of the prize is unavailable, for whatever

reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater

value.
