1. Create a Google+ Profile

Remember to upload a high quality headshot and fill out profile information

2. Go to plus.google.com/authorship, sign up with your email and click on the verification link

3. Add link to the publication in “contributor to “ section of your Google+ profile

4. Add link to Google+ profile on the articles landing page Two options:

1. Use rel=author tag from your content that points to your Google+ profile, OR

2. Use rel=author from content to the about page then rel=me from about page to Google+

5. Test: Google rich snippet tool (http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets)
