Put a - before a word and it will exclude results with a particular word or phrase.

Put a ~ before a word and it will search for synonyms.
Type: ~mobile phones

Numerical Range...
If you put … (three dots) between numbers, it will search for a range of numbers.
Type: Willie Mays 1950...1960

Find Meanings
Put define: before a word or phrase and it will give you the definition.
Type: define:plethora

Site Specific
Put site:edu and it will only search those particular websites (could be edu, org, gov, country codes, etc)
Try: global warming site:edu

Find results with your search term in the document title.
Try: intitle:tourism

Allintitle:
Finds results with all your search terms in the document title.
Try: allintitle:tourism adventure

Related:
Finds results with content related to a specific website.
Find a website you like, and then put related: in front of the URL and search.
filetype:
Limits your search to a specific file type.Examples: doc, xls, ppt, mpr, docx, pptx, xlsx,pdf
