Before we begin

You should have:

• A Google map with records plotted

• Flickr records you want to link your map to

Finding the url of your image

Go into your flickr record and click on all sizes of image. Select the small size. It will then give you the photo url. Copy this script.

Go to Google maps

Click on edit. This will allow you to make changes

Inserting your Flickr image

• Click on the location you want to add an image and link to your flickr record from.

• Click on insert picture. A user prompt box will appear. Paste the url of the flickr image. This will then appear in the record box

Linking your image to Flickr

• the link icon in the tool bar. A user prompt box will appear. Type in the url of the Flickr record and click ok. Remember to click done and save. Your record should now show an image of the flickr record as well as link directly to Flickr in a pop out box.
