FormWorn on the head, Glass is more conspicuous and obtrusive than other types wearable computing.

PrivacyThere are major issues around privacy and safety need to be resolved. Many assume it’s recording all the time and can be used to surreptitiously take photos and video without consent.

UseWhat’s this used for? Many feel like it’s trying to solve a non existent problem.

THERE’S HOPE

Glass will start to look better soonGoogle and the Luxottica Group (Controls over 80% of the world's major eyewear brands) are working to create more fashionable glasses. This will help shed the technie image and open up the device to more users as Glass can start to blend into everyday use.

Cost will come downGlass is expected to come down to around $600 when widely released later in 2014.

Wearables are growingWearable computing will continue to grow and become mainstream. Glass will be part of this as individuals and industries discover benefits of head mounted displays and AR.
