MARKET COMMENTARY
Indian equity markets closed with moderate gains in Thursday's trade. Traders were seen piling positions in FMCG, Auto and Power stocks while selling was witnessed in Metal, Capital Goods and TECK sector stocks. For today's trade Nifty likely to trade in the range between 8945 – 8975 in the upper side and 8910 – 8870 in the lower side.

China’s Stocks Fall to Cap First Weekly Loss in a Month on IPOs: - Chinese stocks fell, with the benchmark Shanghai index capping its first weekly decline in a month, on concern that new share offerings next week will divert funds from existing equities.“The market will come under pressure in the short term even though the IPO effect will be temporary,” said Yen Chiu, a Hong Kong-based trader at Shenwan Hongyuan Group Co. “Given the gloomy outlook for the economy, more stimulus will keep coming in but the scale won’t be massive.”

Draghi Declares Victory for Bond-Buying before it starts: - Mario Draghi is claiming victory for his quantitative-easing program before it even starts. As the European Central Bank president set a start date of Monday for his 1.1 trillion euro ($1.2 trillion) bond-buying program, he said the stimulus will spur the euro area’s fastest economic growth since 2007 and return inflation to the ECB’s goal within three years.
