• Golf was a great debate between the English & Scottish.

ENGLAND: There’s a stained glass window in a cathedral of a

man that resembles a golfer. This is what they claim to be their

undeniable proof that golf was a sport they invented.

SCOTLAND: Believe that they came up with golf because

contributed a lot and has rich history.

HISTORY & WHO INVENTED

TOURNAMENTSConsidered the most important in all events in golf!

1. MASTERS: Held in April and is the 1st major of the year & only major to be played at the same course every year.

2. US OPEN: Held in June3. BRITISH OPEN: Held in July4. PGA CHAMPIONSHIP: Held in August

& is the most significant.* The last three all rotate the courses

when they’re played.
