The Victorian Monkey Kitchen and Social Club is partnering with Variety - the Children’s Charity of Ontario to host our second annual golf tournament in support of ath-letes with disabilities on the Variety Ontario Athletic Club sports teams. Variety is proud to be the home of several sport teams, all part of the Variety Athletic Club. The VAC gives athletes of all abilities the opportunity to be active and competitive to the best of their ability.

Since 1982, the teams of the VAC have provided the perfect training ground for athletes who go on to compete at provincial, national and international levels. Children and youth, competing as members of integrated sports teams see many benefits: developing both muscle and self-esteem, learning coordination, making new friends,

and learning to see abilities rather than disabilities.

Variety’s goal is to expand programming across Ontario giving kids like PIERCE opportunity for healthy, active living closer to home.

All proceeds from this year’s inaugural High Tee Charity Golf Classic for Kids event support athletes with disabilities on the Variety Athletic Club Sports Teams.
