WATOTO GOLFCHALLENGE
HOW DOES IT WORK
Play as many holes of golf during a 3-day challenge that will take place during the Father’s Day weekend. Friday 19 and Sunday 21 June 2015 at Uganda Golf Club, Kololo; and Saturday 20 June at Palm Valley Golf & Country Club, Entebbe Road.
A Grand Finale prize-giving and cocktail will be held on Father’s Day, 21 June.
Find out how many holes of golf you can play in a weekend, while transforming lives in Africa.
• Can be played by anyone of any skill level. We encourage individual golfers, teams of golfers, golfers from the same church, cells, families , businesses and other groups to golf together
• Played over the Father’s Day weekend. Friday 19
and Sunday 21 June 2015 at Uganda Golf Club, Kololo; and Saturday 20 June at Palm Valley Golf & Country Club, Entebbe Road.
• Your goal is to play as many holes of golf during the weekend as possible, while raising support/hole played
• All participants are encouraged to raise funds through individual or family peer-to-peer donation pages
• Lots of great prizes and awards will be given out
• Culminates in a Grand Cocktail Function on Father’s Day, 21 June at the Uganda Golf Club, featuring the Watoto Children’s Choir
A Golf Challenge that:
PARTICIPANTREGISTRATION1. Participants register at a fee of UGX
20,000 via Mobile money or in person at the Watoto Church Downtown events officeorreception
2. Participants can play as an individual or register to play as a family, team, cell group, fellowship, church, business or other group
3. During the Father’s Day weekend, participants will play as many holes of golf as they can

4. ‘Non-golfers’ are encouraged to support the participants by donating to them
5. Participants to book tee times at the selected courses (just like you would for any normal round of golf). Play 1 round of golf per day, 2 rounds per day, or any combination of rounds of golf during the weekend your schedule (and your stamina) can accommodate
6. We ask each golfer to commit to playing a minimum of 3 rounds of golf (54 holes) - of course you can set your goals a lot higher and aim for 5, 6, 7 or more rounds ofgolfduringtheweekend. Themoreholes the better
7. At the end of each day, register your holes played with the Watoto
representative at the golf course or do it yourself on the site
8. At the end of the weekend, prizes and awards will be given
9. Of course, all participants are encouraged to use social media, Whatsapp and text messages to post details of their participation so we can raise even more funds for the childrenandwomenatWatoto. Youareencouraged to let your friends, relatives, co-workers, neighbours know, ask and thank them for their donations in support of you.
10. The minimum goal is for you to raise
a total from all donations of UGX 30,000perholeplayed. Ifyouplaytheminimum of 54 holes that equals UGX 1,620,000. Ofcourse,themorepledgesper hole and the more holes you play,
