Rationale for Standardized Metal Golf Cart Plates The mission of both Security Services and Emergency Management is to provide a safe environment for Members, Associates and authorized guests. Additionally, Security Services is tasked with preventing unauthorized use of Park resources and infrastructure. Unauthorized persons and vehicles entering the Park present both a risk to authorized persons in the Park as well as placing a financial burden on both the company and Members.

Security Services has had numerous incidents involving unauthorized entry into the Park by persons operating golf carts which are being brought in from the outside without authorization. At this time, this unlawful access can occur by simply placing random or bogus site numbers on an unauthorized cart and driving into the Park from any of several unmanned and ungated access points. These types of illegal entries are difficult to identify and investigate as there is nothing in the appearance of the carts site numbers or registrations which can quickly be identified as being bogus. Security Services has identified numerous carts which have been gaining unauthorized access into the Park for some time, and probably for years. In instances where the behavior of individuals has brought them to the attention of Security Services, such as reckless driving, driving while intoxicated, open containers of alcohol, etc., the persons on the carts have several times just fled outside the Park, leaving staff little recourse. With the current system of stickers displaying a site number used for identification, the violator can simply place a different site sticker on the cart and continue to make unauthorized entries into the Park.

The specific reasons for moving to a system of metal plates on the front and rear of the golf cart with an expiration sticker are:

• To prevent unauthorized entry into the Park

• To prevent unauthorized use of Park resources

• To standardize cart registrations, display heights and display of numbers

• To be able to quickly identify a cart which has been stolen or involved in criminal activity

or rule violations

• To prevent persons from owning more than two carts

• To prevent persons from conducting unauthorized sales/rentals of carts by manipulating

cart numbers

• To provide a system to readily identifying carts with an expired registration

• To improve the overall safety and security of Members, Associates and authorized

guests

Letter from the Safety Security Committee

December 11, 2018 Safety and Security Committee Subject: Illegal entries into the Sandy Pines Recreational Community It has been brought to the attention of the Safety and Security Committee by Sandy Pines Management and The Public Safety Department through their hard work and observations, that there are many persons entering Sandy Pines illegally and/or circumventing Park Rules. Due to this problem, we are working with management and the Public Safety Department to implement the use of license plates on all golf carts. We feel it is necessary to start putting plates on these vehicles for the safety and security of Members and their families. The persons entering Sandy Pines illegally are using our facilities and amenities at no cost to themselves, but at a large cost to the membership in extra repairs and upkeep. This is not only costing membership and Sandy Pines money; it is also putting the Members’ safety and security in jeopardy. We are working to make this process as easy and informed as possible. Thank you for your understanding. We would appreciate any suggestions that would help us with the project of making our park more safe and secure. Safety and Security Committee

Intent To ensure that golf carts within Sandy Pines can be readily identified to a specific membership site and to deter trespass and use of facilities by others. To require Members to display a golf cart license plate on the center front and rear of the golf cart, which is clearly visible/identifiable.

License Plate Minimum and Maximum Height. Minimum distance of the bottom of the License Plate must be no closer to the ground than the Golf Cart Floorboard to the ground.

Maximum distance of the top of the License Plate must be no higher than eight inches from the bottom edge of the Golf Cart Windshield.

All trailers must have 3” site numbers matching the Memberships Golf Cart License Plate, as close to the center as possible, on the back of the trailer.

The license plate will be aluminum with white background and embossed (raised lettering) black letters which will be the membership’s site numbers. Site numbers will be 4-digits numeric. License plate will be reflective. The size is 6” x 8.25”. Slots in the top and bottom of the plate will be present to be adjustable for mounts. Temporary plates will start with a T and have a 3-digit number.

As of 10/4/2018, approx. 3,283 golf carts were registered by Members of Sandy Pines. This data is compiled from Members indicating the number of golf carts that they own and have on their membership site. A spreadsheet with this data will be compiled to provide to the manufacturer for production. It is important that members list their golf carts within the Park so golf cart license plates may be ordered for each specific membership.

The license plate will have a white background, black 3” lettering and be reflective with the Sandy Pines logo screen printed across the top to prevent reproduction and private duplication or copyright infringement. The license plate will have a yearly registration tab in the top right-hand corner. Four slots will be provided for attachment to the golf cart. The license plate will correspond with the member’s specific site number. In April 2020, license plates will be available for Members to pick up as well as Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification numbers. License plates may be picked up at the Main Gate Public Safety Office for residents of phase 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and the Condos. The Phase 3 security office will have plates for the residents of Phase 3.

Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) Serial numbers on Golf Carts can be in various locations on different makes and models of Golf Carts and be difficult to locate. To assist Members in Registration, Sandy Pines will not require Members to search for their Golf Cart’s serial number but will provide numbers to be applied to the steering wheel column in a visible location. Sandy Pines Staff will apply the Golf Cart numbers. The Member/Owner of the Membership will be required to bring the Golf Cart to a Security station for application of the number. The numbers will be called Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Numbers. The cost for the Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Number issued with a License Plate is included in the cost of the License Plates. Should a replacement of a Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Number be needed for lost or damaged Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Numbers, the cost is $5.00.

Registration of Golf Carts Sandy Pines rules permit the owner of a membership site to have two golf carts. The owner of a membership may register a maximum of two golf carts for license plates. Two Ways to Register a Golf Cart:

1) The Member/Owner of a membership may register their golf cart online at the Sandy Pines web page - Member access section, or…

2) In person at the Public Safety office. A paper form will be provided for the Member/owner of the membership to fill out at the Public Safety Office.

Member/owners may register their golf carts online by filling out the registration form and entering their golf cart information via the internet through Member Web Access. The Member/owner of the membership is required to register, obtain vehicle identification numbers and obtain license plates from a security office. Persons other than the Member/owner of a membership will not be permitted to register, obtain golf cart vehicle identification number or golf cart license plates.

Member Web Access The Member Web Access form/page has drop-down menus with pre-determined fields to make entering of data simple for the membership. Visit SandyPines.com/Members, click the Member Web Access button, and login to your account. You’ll need your account name and password.

Online Golf Cart Registration Form Once logged into your Member Web Access Account, you’ll be able to follow the prompts and click the drop-down menus to complete your registration.

Member/owners will be required to check a box indicating that they have insurance, the golf cart is their property and Sandy Pines is held harmless in the use and operation of the golf cart in the Park.

Costs Our estimated manufactured and distribution costs per License Plate is $7.00 per Plate ($14.00 per Golf Cart – front and rear License Plate). Sandy Pines is not profiting from this requirement. The cost of the Golf Cart License Plate is a one-time fee. Memberships will not be charged a recurring yearly fee for a Golf Cart License Plate. The Park does charge a yearly Registration Fee for Golf Carts. Nothing will change with the yearly Registration Fee. The current yearly cost to register a Golf Cart is $15 per year per Golf Cart. Nothing will change in the issuance of a Golf Cart Registration Stickers in 2020. The Park is allowing time for Memberships to pick up and affix the Golf Cart License Plate to their Golf Carts. This time frame is between April 2020 and April 2021. A Golf Cart Registration Sticker will be issued in 2020 to be applied to the Golf Cart until the Member obtains their Golf Cart License Plate. In 2021 a Golf Cart License Plate Sticker Tab will replace the Golf Cart Registration Sticker. The License Plate will have a place in the top right corner on the License Plate for the Tab to be affixed in 2021. Total expense for each Golf Cart, the first year is $15 yearly Registration + $14.00 Golf Cart License Plates (front & rear) for a total cost of. $29.00 Golf Cart. License Plates will be billed to Member’s accounts at time of pickup. Golf Cart License Plate charges will be in the 2020 Renewal Fees.

Members/owners Purchasing New Golf Carts If the Member/Owner only has one Golf Cart and purchased a second Golf Cart during the season a temporary Golf Cart License Plate would be issued until an order is submitted to the manufacture.

Ordering License Plates in small quantities is commonly more expensive per item. The intent is to keep the costs of License Plates to a minimum. Two hundred (200) Temporary Golf Cart License Plates would be ordered to be issued throughout the season. This would provide License Plates for one hundred (100) newly purchased Golf Carts by Members (front and back License Plates). The License Plate number for temporary Plates be in the format of T and three numerical digits (T001)

An order for Member/Owner requested License Plates would be in the fall/off season indicating the specific site number of the Membership.

Transfer of License Plates to a Different Golf Cart. Member/Owners may sell a Golf Cart and purchase a Golf Cart as a replacement. The Golf Cart License Plate will be transferred to the newly purchased Golf Cart. The License Plate assigned to the specific Membership site number stays with the campsite. The Member/owner will be required to register the new Golf Cart online. A Transfer Fee of $15 per Golf Cart. The Member/Owner must also obtain a Golf Cart Vehicle Identification Number if the Golf Cart purchased does not have a Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Number. The cost of the Golf Cart Vehicle Identification Number is included in the License Plate Transfer Fee.

Member/owner selling a Golf Cart and Not Replacing the Golf Cart Members may have one Golf Cart and sell the Golf Cart resulting in owning no Golf Carts. Members may own two Golf Carts and sell one of the Golf Carts during the season. Sandy Pines will not reimburse Members for License Plate Fees.

A concern exists for Members with spare License Plates (License Plates still in their possession after a sale and not replacing the Golf Cart) to provide/share to friends and neighbors.

Each spring Members are billed according to the number of Golf Carts registered with the Park. For this to be accurate Members must also be responsible in indicating online the reduction of Golf Carts associated with their Membership. If License Plate is not surrendered the Member’s account will be billed until surrendered.

Therefore, Member/Owners are required to surrender License Plates when selling a Golf Cart and not replacing the Golf Cart. The Golf Cart License Plate is to be turned into the Public Safety Office.

If the Golf Cart was part of the sale of the Membership, then a form would be filled out at the time of the closing indicating the transfer to the new owner.

If the sale of the Membership does not include the Golf Cart the disposition of the License Plates is between the Buyer and Seller. If the License Plates are not acquired in the sale by the Buyer, then the Buyer would be responsible for replacement License Plates at a cost of $200 each.

Members transferring to another Membership/campsite Golf cart license plates stay with the campsite that the site number corresponds with or are turned into the Sandy Pines Public Safety Office.

License plates are not transferable to other campsites.

If a member purchases a membership at another campsite, the Member/buyer will have to arrange to obtain the golf cart license plates from the campsite seller or purchase replacement golf cart license plates for the purchased campsite. A temporary golf cart license plate will be issued, and a replacement golf cart license plate will be ordered by the Park if requested by the new owner.

Inoperable Golf Carts Golf Carts that are no longer serviceable, are at the end of their operational life, taken out of service that have been issued a Golf Cart License Plate may have the License Plate transferred to a new purchased Golf Cart or the License Plate may be surrendered to the Public Safety Office.

The Member/Owner will be responsible in updating the Golf Cart online Registration information.

Member Services would remove the Golf Cart from the Member’s data upon being notified by Public Safety that the License Plate was surrendered.

Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Replacement Golf Cart Plates This cost was determined to deter individuals from purchasing additional Golf Cart License Plates for a third or more Golf Carts.

Replacement for a damaged License Plate $100 (each). Member/Owner would have to surrender damaged Plate for replacement to be ordered at a cost of $100 (each).

Replacement cost for lost or stolen replacement Golf Cart License Plate $200 (each).

Limited Number of Transfers of License Plates per Calendar Year The number of transfers of License Plates is two Golf Carts per calendar year/Membership. Transfer Registration Fee would be $15.

Sale of Membership Upon the sale of a Membership, the responsibility of transferring the Golf Cart License plates remains between the Buyer and Seller.

a). If the Buyer does not acquire the Golf Cart License Plates with the sale, then the Buyer will be responsible in obtaining a Temporary Plate and ordering a replacement Plate at $200 each.

b). Golf Cart License Plates will be included in the Sales Closing Check List as a reminder to Buyer and Seller.

c). The Buyer of the Membership is responsible for transferring and recording Golf Carts registered under their name via Member Web Access. Cost of transfer is $15.

Keeping a Golf Cart License Plate upon Sale of Membership A Commemorative Plate may be ordered of the License Plate. Cost of the Commemorative Plate will be $30. Commemorative Plates may be ordered through the Public Safety Office. The design will be different from Plates used on Golf Carts. Commemorative License Plates will be ordered in the off season. Pre-payment will be required at time of order.

Sandy Pines Golf Cart Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) Sandy Pines will issue Golf Cart VIN Numbers to the Member/Owner of a Membership. The VIN Numbers will be on a Sticker that can be attached to the Steering Column. Security staff will affix the Sandy Pines Vehicle Identification Sticker to the Steering Column on the left side of the Steering Column clearly visible from the left side of the Golf Cart when the Member picks up their License Plate.

The number will be approx. 3/8” in height. The VIN Number Tag will be tamper resistant.

Brackets and Mounting A description of mounting would be provided and published. Online Videos would be provided to show where and how to mount. And vendors names would be provided that provide installation of mounting brackets.

Distribution of License Plates Time of distribution:

Only Member/Owners of Memberships will be permitted to obtain their Membership’s Golf Cart License Plates starting April 2020. Members will have until April of 2021 to be compliant. This will assist in the prevention of lines and provide easy access to Members to comply by April 2021. On April 1, 2021, License Plates will be a requirement to be affixed to the front and rear of Golf Carts.

Distribution would occur at the Main Gate Security Office and Phase 3 Security Station. This would permit after business hours/weekend pickup.

Registration can be done online by Member/Owners, at a Kiosk within the Park, or in person with the form provided.

All Golf Cart Registration Renewals will be billed in April 2021.

License Plate Registration Time Line MAY 2019 – The Golf Cart License Plate rationale, background, policy and Golf Cart License Plate Packet will be release to the Membership online at www.SandyPines.com/LicensePlates. MAY- JULY 2019– Education on the new program and process will run all summer through the Sandy Pines website, Member E-News, Social Media, Footprints, Weekend Flyers, posters, handouts, Face to Phase Meetings, and additional workshops if necessary. APRIL 2020 – Registration opens online and onsite at the Sandy Pines Public Safety Office and continues through April 2021. Distribution of license plates begins. Ongoing education of the program and process will continue over the off season into the 2020 season. JANUARY 15, 2020 – Annual Renewal Notices will include the initial charge for golf cart license plates. The license plate charge will be included annually with Renewal Statements. APRIL 2021 – Golf Cart Registration and license plate installation deadline. All golf carts are required to be registered with plates installed to avoid fines. JANUARY 15, 2021 - Annual Renewal Notices will include the annual charge for golf cart Registration Stickers/Tabs.

Golf Cart License Plate Rules

Golf Cart Rules and Regulations: Golf cart plate; issued by Sandy Pines; attachment to front and back of the golf cart; legibility; color; penalties for violation(s). (1) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection and subsection (6), a golf cart plate issued for a golf cart shall be attached to the center rear, and center front of the golf cart. SPWT will issue two (2) metal plates per golf cart, with a maximum of two (2) golf carts per membership site. The golf cart plates will be issued once at an initial, one-time cost to the member of the published cost per plate.

(2) A golf cart plate shall always be securely fastened in a horizontal position to the golf cart for which the plate is issued to prevent the plate from swinging. The plate shall be attached front center of the bumper, in a place and position that is clearly visible. The plate shall be maintained free from foreign materials that obscure or partially obscure the registration sticker and in a clearly legible condition. The attachment of the plate to the rear of a golf cart, in a place and position that is clearly visible and not obstructed by a tow ball, removable hitch, or any other device designed to carry an object on the rear of a golf cart, including the object being carried.

(3) A registration tab sticker or expiration tab shall be of a different color designated by Sandy Pines with a marked contrast between the color of the license plate and registration tab. The yearly registration plate tab shall be affixed to the top right-hand corner of the rear plate. Yearly plate tabs or expirations tabs will be available for purchase in subsequent years from the Park. Sandy Pines will provide a distinctive yearly plate registration tab/sticker at the published cost per golf cart.

(4) A person shall not attach a name plate, insignia, or advertising device to a golf cart plate in a manner that obscures or partially obscures the registration information.

(5) A person shall not operate a golf cart that has a name plate, insignia, or advertising device attached to a registration plate in a manner that obscures or partially obscures the registration information.

(6) Any golf cart with a license plate affixed on it must be owned by the member/owner of the membership of the specific site and have a current annual registration license plate tab/sticker affixed to it.

(7) Golf Cart license plates once issued are the responsibility of the member/owner. Replacement of plates if lost or stolen will be available at a cost to the member of $200.00 per plate. In the event of a Membership/site sale which includes a golf cart, the plates will be retained with the new member’s site. It is the responsibility of the purchasing party to update Sandy Pines Wilderness Trails Inc. with new owner information.

(8) Temporary Plates- All golf carts within Sandy Pines require a license plate and current registration tab/sticker. Lost, misplaced, stolen, new purchased membership sites or other events may require issuance of a temporary Sandy Pines license plate. If a license plate is not available for the specific membership site a temporary Sandy Pines license plate will be issued by the Public Safety Office.

(9). If member/owner of a membership possess (1) one or more golf carts, that member can sell (2) two golf carts per year. One golf cart replacement per year, per cart will be permitted. The member/owner selling a golf cart is responsible to notify Sandy Pines Wilderness Trails Inc. of the sale of a golf cart, and removal of the Sandy Pines Wilderness Trails Inc., VIN on record. If a member’s golf cart is replaced with a different golf cart, that member/owner will report to the Sandy Pines Wilderness Trails Inc. and obtain a form to update the Sandy Pines VIN, make, model, and color of the golf cart. The member will be assessed a $15.00 fee for the golf cart transfer record update.

10) Application of Vehicle Identification Sticker on cart. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) shall be applied to carts in the following manner: The VIN stickers are comprised of a self-destructing sticker displaying a unique identification number specific to a Member site. The stickers measure 1.5” by ¾”. The sticker must be applied to the left side of the steering column, as close as practical to the mid-point of the steering column to be legible and readable by a person standing on the left side of the cart. There should be no items in this area which would obstruct the VIN sticker.

Penalties for Violations A person who violates section XII (B). VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC REGULATIONS of the Sandy Pines Handbook is subject to a penalty for a violation. Golf cart plates and registrations must be on file with the Public Safety Office.

a. Failure of the Member/owner to have the golf cart plate and registration information on file in the Public Safety Office will be subject to a 10-point violation and assessed a $250.00 fine.

b. A Member/owner who fails to adhere to the proper display of golf cart plates or registration stickers is subject to a 5-point violation and assessed a $50.00 fine.

c. If a Member/owner knowingly allows another person to use a Member’s golf cart plate, the Member is subject to a 10-point violation and assessed a $250.00 fine.

d. The Member/owner must provide the Sandy Pines vehicle identification number for the golf carts associated with their site, which will be maintained in records by the Public Safety Office identifying proper Member/owner ownership. Failure of a Member to properly register or update the Public Safety Office with the year, make, model and Sandy Pines vehicle identification number of a golf cart will be subject to a 5-point violation and assessed a $50.00 fine.

e. Sandy Pines reserves the right to suspend the privilege of the use of a golf cart within property of Sandy Pines Wilderness Trails Inc. Non-compliance to or violation of the Sandy Pines Golf Cart Policy, Rules and Regulations may be cause for loss of privilege of a membership to have a golf cart on the property of Sandy Pines.

Frequently Asked Questions 1). Q. What are the new Sandy Pines license plates?

A. They are aluminum plates with raised black numbers on a white background that are reflective and correspond to the membership’s specific site number.

2). Q. What will these plates go on?

A. All Sandy Pines Member-owned golf carts.

3). Q. How much will these golf cart plates cost?

A. The cost will be $7.00 for each plate. The total for both plate’s front and rear will be $14.00 per golf cart.

4). Q. Why is Sandy Pines requiring these plates?

A. Presently site numbers on golf carts are not uniform in placement or design. Site numbers are placed in various areas on the golf cart. Various designs, location and color hamper the ability to clearly visualize the site number.

The Public Safety Officers have had problems of persons entering Sandy Pines illegally with fake site numbers on their golf cart that do not belong in Sandy Pines.

5). Q. When will all golf carts be required to have these plates?

A. The plates will have to be on all golf carts by April 2021.

6). Q. Who will install these plates?

A. The Member will be responsible for the installation of the plates by April 2021. Vendors will be provided that will assist Members in installation.

7). Q. When can we register our golf carts?

A. The Member will be able to register golf carts beginning April 2020. Golf cart license plates will be available to pick up at the Public Safety Office.

8). Q. How will we register the golf carts?

A. Members can register online through Member Web Access, or in person with a paper Registration Form. Member Web Access is the fastest, most reliable way for you to make sure your information is correct. If you do not have a computer or internet access, staff at the Public Safety Office will assist you.

9). Q. Where can we get this paper Registration Form?

A. Members may pick up the Registration Form at the Member Service Office or the Public Safety Department Offices in Phase One or Phase Three.

10). Q. Will we be required to put our golf Cart serial number on the Registration Form?

A. No, a Sandy Pines vehicle identification number (VIN) will be provided when the Member picks up the license plates. The Sandy Pines vehicle number will be applied by Security Staff to the steering column of the golf cart.

11). Q. Where will the plates be mounted on the golf cart?

A. The license plates must be mounted in the front and rear center of the golf cart.

12). Q. Where are the plates mounted on the front and rear of the golf cart?

A. Minimum distance of the bottom of the License Plate must be no closer to the ground than the Golf Cart Floorboard to the ground.

Maximum distance of the top of the License Plate must be no higher than eight inches from the bottom edge of the Golf Cart Windshield.

13). Q. How will we mount the plates on the golf cart?

A. Several options exist for mounting license plates on a golf cart. If you are unsure of how to mount them, contact a provided vendor to assist you in installation.

14). Q. What if we are unable to install the plates?

A. A list of venders will be provided to assist the Member in the installation of the license plates.

15). Q. What if we decide to install the plates ourselves, what can we use for the installation?

A. A list of universal brackets, mounting parts and venders will be provided to the Member to assist in mounting the license plates.

16). Q. What if we sell our golf cart?

A. If you replace your golf cart, you must update your Golf Cart Registration. If you don’t replace the golf cart, you must return the plates to the Public Safety Department.

17). Q. Why do the plates need to be returned to the Public Safety Department?

A. The license plates belong to the membership site. If the license plate is not returned, the membership will be billed at the time of renewal. To prevent from being billed for the yearly golf cart registration, return the golf cart license plate prior to renewals.

The Park permits two (2) golf carts per membership. People in the past have circumvented the rules. In this case, the intent is to prevent persons from sharing golf cart license plates with others to increase the number of golf carts they may use in the Park.

If Member decides to get another golf cart, the Member will need the plate for the golf cart. If the plate is lost, it will cost the Member $200.00 (each).

18). Q. Is there a cost for a new registration?

A. Yes, there is a current $15.00 charge for a new registration, but no cost for the plate because it would be transferred to the new golf cart.

19). Q. How many golf carts can we purchase during a season?

A. Your site may only have two golf carts; therefore, you can replace the two golf carts you have, with two new ones in a calendar year. You would have a $15.00 transfer fee for each golf cart.

20). Q. Do we have to replace these license plates every year?

A. No, the license plate purchase is a one-time charge.

In 2021, there will not be a fee for the cost of a license plate, but the regular annual renewal registration fee will be charged. At the yearly renewal, you will get a registration license plate tab/sticker that will go on your license plate.

21) Q. Can we get our golf cart license plates early and pay for them?

A. Yes, you can pick up your license plates and pay for them early, if you have your Registration Form completed. The plates and your Sandy Pines vehicle identification number will be available at the Public Safety Department beginning April 2020.

22). Q. Where do we put the Sandy Pines vehicle identification number on the golf cart?

A. The Sandy Pines vehicle number must be placed on the steering column on the left- hand side, so the Public Safety Officer can see it clearly. Security Staff will apply the golf cart vehicle identification number when the license plates are picked up by the Member.

23). Q. If we have a question or need help, where can we go to receive an answer or get help?

A. Members can receive assistance at the Public Safety Department or Member Service Office.

24). Q. What if we sell our site?

A. If the golf cart(s) are included in the sale, the buyer will have to register the golf carts in their name. The buyer and seller are responsible in the transfer of ownership.

25) Q. What if I sell my current membership site and buy another site in the Park and keep my golf cart(s)?

A. The license plates remain with the site that corresponds to the site number. If you have purchased a site, you should obtain the license plates from the seller and register

the license plates in your name. If you do not obtain the license plates from the seller replacement license plates are $200 (each).

26). Q. What if we have one golf cart and purchase another one. How will we get license plates for the new golf cart?

A. Temporary license plates will be issued until the new plates come in. The license plates will only be ordered once a year, at the end of the season. When the new plates are received at the start of the following season, the Member will be required to turn in the temporary plate to get his or her new license plate.

27). Q. What proof do we need to pick up the Sandy Pines license plates?

A. The Members will need their Sandy Pines membership Photo ID.

28). Q. What if the license plate gets damaged?

A. The charge for a damaged plate will be $100.00. The Member must turn in the damaged license plate to get a new one.

29). Q. What if the license plate gets lost or stolen?

The charge for lost or stolen license plates will be $200.00 (each).

The charges for lost or damaged license plates are determined to defer individuals from purchasing additional golf cart license plates for a third or more golf carts.

30). Q. Will the new online Registration Form be easy to fill out?

A. Yes, most of the Registration Form is drop-down boxes. You just pick your input from those boxes.

31). Q. Who may obtain the golf cart license plates, the golf cart serial number and yearly golf cart registration tabs?

A. Only the Member/owner of a membership may obtain golf cart license plates, golf cart vehicle identification numbers and yearly golf cart registration license plate tabs.
