as Pande Mas.
• Pande Mas means an expert of gold. PANDE means Pandai or smart which
means expert. Mas is just a different way of saying emas which is is gold.
• Goldsmithing is actually not only mining for gold but it is also mining for other things
in the ground.
• In the kingdom years, Pande Mas or Goldsmithing is really important and it is useful
for peoples.
• Everyone needed under ground resources for their daily lives they use it for variety of
things.
• In the kingdom years, they first use wood to dig or mine to find resources.
They use wood because trees were on the ground and resources like gold,
silvers and others are under the ground. So they find new resources.
• Indonesia have many mineral resources including various types of rocks
and coals and gold!
A bit of a history
What is it for?The resources they get could create many things. When they find resources, they use a traditional metal ore smelting technology to adjust the heat to shape the tools.
They could find:• Diamond• Silver• Gold• Iron• Rocks• Stones
With those things it could create:• Jewelry• Weapon• Silverwares • Marble (Not the toy)
Disadvantages• Need energy to mine
• People could die when mining
• Resources decreasing (if they mine to much)
• Need people to mine
• Wasting time (if they mine to much)
What happened after?
• Some of the resources they get is used for house
importance and for rich people to get jewelries.
• Until now they still use the metal ore technology,
but the technology is better and more useful that
the one last time.
