ROCHFORD GOLD PROJECT

In the +60 Million oz Homestake Gold Belt

South Dakota, USA

Exploring for a Tier 1 Gold System

TSX.V: MMV

125 years of operation*

+40 M oz Au production from 152 Mt @ 8.4 gpt Au

Open below 8500 foot level

Richest, deepest iron formation hosted gold deposit in the world

2 The Target: Another Homestake Mine

*Homestake was discovered in 1876, and closed in 2001 due to gold price; did not run out of ore

TSX.V: MMV 2 Project Location

Rochford Gold Project South Dakota, USA

0 10 km

TSX.V: MMV

Dominant land position: 7516 acres (30.4 km2), 100% MMV controlled; First time majority of District is under one control

First time comprehensive (~$20M), historical, proprietary, multi-company drilling (3D) and geological / structural / geochemical database has been assembled, along with first helicopter mag-VTEM, to focus exploration at District scale

Management & technical team has deep geological and operational expertise in Rochford District, Homestake deposit geology and other iron-formation hosted gold deposits

High potential to host Tier 1 gold system: +40 M oz Homestake District is 25 km to north

5 target trends in Rochford District with high-grade gold; each with potential to host multi-million oz, 8-10 gpt Au, Homestake - type “Ledge” gold deposits

Rochford District is vastly under-explored: Only Standby Trend has (limited) deep drilling; other trends tested only to shallow depths, or else not drilled

Black Hills is pro-mining: Operating gold mine (Wharf), skilled workforce, excellent infrastructure, year-round access, and supportive State and Federal permitting

De-Risked, District-Scale Opportunity 4

At Mine closure in 2001: Homestake Mine was

2.4 km (1.5 miles) deep Au was $280 USD, it’s

lowest nominal & inflation-adjusted price since the early 1970’s

Rochford District: Homestake explored

Standby Trend 1986-1988, ~$4M spent

However, North Drift discovery 3 miles NW of Homestake Mine took priority; Standby was put on hold, despite early technical successes

TSX.V: MMV 11 Homestake Gold Ore Ledges

Gold ore host is grunerite- siderite-chert-pyrrhotite iron formation

Ore ledges occur in thickened synclinal fold hinges, where these are cut by late, sub-parallel, steep brittle-ductile deformation zones

Centroids of ore ledges occur where plunges of F2 folds flatten

Ore - associated alteration includes anomalous Au & As, with late extensional quartz veins exhibiting well-developed chlorite selvages

Folding: Key tight to isoclinal SSE-plunging F2 folds

Shear Zones: NNW-trending, near-vertical, brittle-ductile deformation zones: 2 at

Gold Endowment: > 40M oz. @8.4 gpt Au in 152 Million tonnes at Homestake

Plunge section of Homestake 9-Ledge vs. known Standby Deposit gold mineralization, at same scale

• Shallow Au mineralization at Standby is comparable to an “Upper Tail” position in the 9-Ledge at

the Homestake Mine

• Goal is to follow and extend Standby Mine gold mineralization down plunge to discover a

Homestake Ledge-Type Ore Centroid in Rochford District

• Currently defined Au mineralization at Standby is on MMV controlled ground, and is open down-

plunge

• A number of historic gold intersections from Homestake’s drilling provide direct evidence for

significant Au mineralization, and justify exploring the Standby trend down-plunge

Standby Mine 3D 1st Target 1000 ft. Wide 3500 ft. Long & 4500 ft.Deep

In 1982, Getty Oil drilled hole S-1 intersecting the gold zone at the 600 ft. level: Here, the Standby gold zone was 123.0 ft. wide (37.5 m) with locally quartz-flooded, heavily mineralized iron formation and visible gold noted in four areas along the core

Surface sampling averaged 10.0 grams per tonne Au across 10 meters A Shaft was sunk to the 425-foot level and underground channel sampling (consecutive series) assayed 6.0 grams per ounce per tonne Au over (33 ft)11.1 meters

Mineral Mountain’s winter drill program will re-drill the Getty Oil S-1 hole with visible gold and then complete 8 more drill holes down plunge to about the 1200 ft. level to determine the grade and width of this unique gold target.

TSX.V: MMV

Ledge-type gold targets are controlled by the intersection of steep NNW-SSE deformation zones with iron formation in structurally thickened F2 synclinoral fold axes.

Lack of major offsets by these NNW-SSE structures and sub-parallel elongated expression of high-magnetic bodies along these structures suggests many of the interpreted structures are nearly parallel to F2 folds.

Geophysical Interpretation Zones of Interest are outlined where interpreted iron formation units (high-mag and analytical signal) may be structurally thickened and steepened (parallel to sub-parallel to interpreted steep fold axes).
