CARNIVAL GALA DINNER 2018.

When you arrive at the most famous carnival in the world, you will be swept back in time through

the centuries. You will see for yourself what Marco Polo saw; you will feel, first hand, what Casanova

felt.

You can almost imagine hearing their footsteps! Enter a time machine that will transport you back

in time - into the fairy tale. The riches, magnificence and luxury of the Venetian Republic will take

your breath away! Become a part of the magical scenery of the most historical scenes and create

one of a kind memories that will stay with you forever.

ITINERARY

Day 1 – February 8

Arrival at Venice airport. Meet & Greet, porterage and private transfer to the hotel in Venice.

Check-in at 5* Danieli Hotel (or similar) in Premium Deluxe DBL room in B&B, local tax included.

Time at leisure to relax and enjoy the city.

Meals at leisure.

Day 2 – February 9

Morning at leisure.

Lunch at leisure.

In the afternoon, meet your assistant at the hotel. Private transfer to an amazing local Mask Atelier.

You will enjoy an exciting private mask workshop (approx. 2 hours). You will learn the tradition,

culture and you will discover also the real meaning and origin of the Carnival masks. At the end you

will take with you your mask prepared during the workshop.

Afternoon at leisure.

In the late afternoon, be ready to experience the Bacari tour with your personal guide or sommelier.

Enjoy a relaxing walking tour through the old Venetian taverns, listening to the storytelling of the

expert related to the history of the city and to the local food& wine. During the experience you will

visit three different Bacari with wines and “cicchetti” (local fingers food) tasting included.

Day 4 – February 10

Lunch at leisure.

Tonight is the night! Be ready for the amazing Gold Gala Dinner, the ultimate and most exclusive

Carnival experience of the city.

Note: the mask is included. The period costume is not mandatory. In case, it can be purchased

together with the accessories in a specific atelier (on demand).

What awaits you?

•A XVII century Venetian palace and gold décor facing the Grand Canal.

•A fascinating theatre-circus show by the international performing agency “Nuart”. A variety of

performers and opera singers will provide the entertainment for you during the evening

•Dinner with the addition of real gold leaf by an Italian 3 starred Michelin chef and a golden mask

custom made for the guests of the Ball.

• A completely unique atmosphere and many interesting must-see leisure activities and events

taking place in the city.

Day 5 – February 11

After breakfast, private transfer from the hotel to Venice airport with Meet & Greet.
