“GOLAN KRAV MAGA INTERNATIONAL (GKMI) aims to empower the Female population with the best self-defense system available. GOLAN KRAV MAGA is a first generation taught, Israeli Special Forces, hand-to-hand combat system. We cover responses to all types of attacks and violent situations from hand-to-hand to multiple attackers. Anything is possible and being able to provide a solution to any physically confrontational situation is essential.

GOLAN KRAV MAGA RAPE DEFENCE 2017 BEING ABLE TO DEFEND YOURSELF WITHOUT RELYING ON ANYBODY ELSE IS ENLIGTING. Statistics shows that the “System” can’t help girls; we have to put the power in their hands

to protect themselves. We can’t rely on relatives, police or teachers to help them. The power MUST be placed in their own hands. WHAT IS THIS CHALLENGE? GKMI. is starting a project in the year to empower 1000 schoolgirls by offering them an 3 Hour Rape Defence Workshop. The idea is to start with 40 students from 25 Schools in rural areas such as Mpumalanga, Gauteng and Freestate, and expanding to millions of women all around the country.

In South Africa, rape is quite simply a major epidemic and every woman should be able to defend herself against such an attack. Our Rape -Defence workshops are emotionally and physically challenging, which is necessary to empower and prepare a woman for real life situations. This is a matter very close to our hearts here at GKMI and we would like to make a difference in assisting woman to realize that they don’t have to be victims. This is a small step in changing South Africa from being the rape capital of the world. This course can make a difference to woman and the country.

CHALLENGE EMPOWERING 1000 GIRLS STATISTICS: The World Post (article 3/08//13) “Of all the Metrics (High School Graduates) in your class, one third have been raped!” says a public education announcement on Talk Radio 702, referring to statistics that estimate more than 30% of girls have been raped by the time they are 18.

It seems there are few places for South African girls to be safe: a relative or family friend rapes Many in their homes; many are raped at school, often by teachers; only a quarter are raped by someone they do not know.

In South Africa, statistics say someone gets raped every four minutes. Only 66,196 incidents were reported to police last year and their investigations led to only 4,500 convictions.

“If data for all violent assaults, rapes and other sexual assaults against women are taken into account, then approximately 200,000 adult women are reported as being attacked in South Africa every year.” Lerato Malooi of the South African Institute for Race Relations said. The real figure is considerably higher, she said, since most cases never are reported.

Krav Maga means, “hand to hand combat” in Hebrew. It was a military system developed by Imi Lichtenfeld in the late 1940’s and was taught to what would become the Israeli Defense Force. Krav Maga emphasized threat neutralization, simultaneous defensive, offensive maneuvers and aggression. Krav Maga has since been adapted for both civilian and military applications.

COMMERCIAL KRAV MAGA VS. GOLAN KRAV MAGA

GKMI is the combination of the original, refined form of Special Forces Krav Maga and the realistically effective, battle tested form developed by Idan Abolnik & Heinrich Hayes

Despite being used by the Israeli special forces units, law enforcement and intelligence organizations, most of these entities still use the ineffective form of Krav Maga. Commercial, watered down Krav Maga, as it’s taught worldwide, is an ineffective system taught almost exclusively by martial artists.

GKMI has been forged by real world conflict and years of training in the Israeli Special Forces by co founder Idan Abolnik and his adaptation of Krav Maga into an effective system.

WHO IS Its FOUNDER? We have yet to find a Krav Maga system that compares to GKMI. We have been given this realistically effective technique to train civilians, soldiers and law enforcers. GKMI offers a realistic chance of survival against the vicious terrors we face today.
