Goal An annual major fundraiser for ECSU Athletics each year, with the effort to raise funds in support of athletics, return alumni to the area or to a designated area, for engagement. Dollars raised through the annual golf tournament provide opportunities for our athletes and increase their chances of success. ECSU Athletics provides opportunity to be part of this wonderful event by becoming a sponsor and / or playing in the tournament. Vision A great day of fun and food for all fans and golfer celebrating camaraderie. The 2021 tournament will celebrate the legendary Jethro Pugh and the other Viking football players that have played professionally. Prizes awarded for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and the tournament-wide putting contest champion. An opportunity to meet and mingle with sponsors, stakeholders, coaches, former athletes, and to provide a celebrity like atmosphere. Packages The Championship package includes up to four golfers, green fees, cart fees, four tee busters, entry into the par three contest, the hole in one contest, snacks and lunch for four for $600. The cost for individual golfers is $150.

Format 18 hole, four person per scramble. Women have choice to play from the Red, White or Green tees, Men 59 and under from the White tees, Men 60-65 play from green tees, Men 65 and up from Red tees. • 10ft qualifying putt into the contest and can purchase multiple attempts for $10 ea. • Qualifiers attempt a 20ft putt to qualify for the 60ft putt. • Last player remaining after the 20ft putt will have a chance at a 60ft putt for the Grand Prize $10,000

Fun Contests • Hole in One $10,000 Grand Prize - Hole must be a minimum of 150 yards. • $500 Hole in ONE prize for all remaining par threes MUST be more greater than 130yrds. • Ladies get a MAX of 15-yard advantage to qualify for any prizes The putting contest begins at 8:00am. Entry fee for the putting contest is $10 per entry. Also available at the event will be Golfer Tees Buster for $10, Charity Golf Guns for $20, and Mulligans for $5 each, 2 per person

Title Sponsor $10,000 Combines all of the sponsorship levels listed below, includes 4 foursomes for golf, company recognition on all printed material (logo on each cart, table display at dinner, rules sheet, etc.) and company logo/link on the athletic website for one year. Corporate Sponsor $2,500 In addition to all of the items listed below, this level also includes banner recognition displayed at the golf tournament. After the tournament the banner will also be displayed an athletic venue during the next academic year. This level will also receive special recognition at the dinner banquet as well as recognition on the golf tournament section of our website with a direct link to your company website. Viking Sponsor $1,000 Receive a complimentary foursome into the tournament and four season passes to ALL home athletic contests. Exclusive Hole Sponsor $750 Exclusive use of a single hole to set-up a table, canopy and have the ability to personally staff and provide marketing material to each golfer prior to tee off from the tee box. Putting Contest and Range Sponsor $500 Receive sign recognition at the practice range, on the putting green during our pre-tournament putting contest AND at a specific hole on the course.
