TRANSCRIPT
Go As You Please was first thought up by Carl Marlow, following the death of his mother. He was in his twenties at the time, and after her funeral, he felt that it could have been so much more meaningful and memorable. Much more a reflection of her and her life. He was determined that other people
didn’t find themselves in a similar situation.
Go As You Please was established in 2001, with an aim to refresh the funeral industry by offering customers’ an honest affordable service, and helping
them to create meaningful celebrations of their loved ones lives.
The reputation we have built, based on that original ethos, has meant that we have progressively expanded from one to seven branches, and also own a natural burial ground; making us the largest independent Funeral Director
in the North East.
We have a great team of people, who are dedicated to helping our families through the funeral experience, and to ensure that they achieve whatever
they wish for their loved ones.
Please have a browse through our brochure and see what we have to offer, and bear in mind the following:
• We are open and honest with all our pricing and have no hidden costs.
• Everything we do is fully customisable to suit your wishes and budget.
• We aim to provide you with whatever you ask for, no matter how crazy you may think it is, as long as it is legal!
• You can contact us any time if you have any questions or would like any advice.
“Direct” Funerals£1500
Our Direct Funerals are a practical low-cost option. Whilst they are suitable for those on a tight budget, they are also perfect for people who would prefer to spend their money in other ways, and those who wish to break
from traditional by doing their own thing.
They are popular as a Prepaid Plan for people who wish to leave their family more of their inheritance to enjoy, rather than spending it on funeral
expenses.
Our Direct Funerals include only the bare essentials. We collect the deceased and then organise an unattended cremation or burial at our discretion.
Afterwards the family can receive their ashes back if cremation; or are able to visit their plot at Seven Penny Meadow if burial.

valley; close to Medomsley village in County Durham.

Customise Your Funeral
Our Funeral Packages provide you with all the practical products and services you need for a funeral. Adding some personalised touches are what can make it a memorable celebration of a loved one’s life….and it needn’t
cost the earth.
Here are some ideas for you to think about, but if you have any ideas of your own then just ask.
Eulogy, Music and Readings
The services of one of our experienced ministers is included in all of our Fully Inclusive Funeral Packages. The minister will come and spend time with the family and friends of the deceased, and work with you to create a
personalised Funeral Service.
The eulogy is the most personal part of the service, and the more input the family have in creating this, the more special it will be.
Nothing could be more personal than having a service which includes some of your loved one’s favourite music, and/or having friends and family
participate in readings.
We can advise you on how to structure your service, and on how to select the best music and readings.
