[18] And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All

authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

[13] “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become

tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good

for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot

[1] If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

[2] If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

[3] And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor,and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

2) I must show genuine faith.

[12] Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith andpurity, show yourself an example of those who believe.

[14] Our people must also learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, so that they will not be unfruitful.

[38] “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

4) I must show genuine sacrifice.

[1] Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

[2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
