GMC uses a gold slip reward system based on our SLE’s (Student Learning Expectations). The students receive gold slips which they can then place in a grade level container in their classrooms.During this time of distance learning, the teachers are putting the names of all students who have done a great job in any area of the SLE’s into a “gold slip” can and then choosing one name for our virtual assemblies on Fridays. We want to continue to recognize our students as they continue to work hard both during the zoom instruction and during independent learning.This is one way that we encourage students to be Faith Filled Active-Catholics, Lifelong Learners and Responsible Citizens.

Each“deed of land” is a $20 donation. All plots of land will be numbered by random draw on the morning of the event. The cowwill be released at 11:00AM and if the cow pie lands on your property, the winner will receive $1,500. If the cow pie landsequally between two lines, the prize money will be divided equally among the landowners. If it lands on an unsold plot of

land, it will move north and then clockwise to find a winner. If the cow does not do it’s “duty” within the 2 hours, thewinning ticket will be drawn at random. All decisions by the judges are final and the winner need not be present to win.

DON’T FORGET TO SHOP WITH SCRIPThis is an important ongoing fundraiser for the school and also benefits families. As you purchase SCRIP a percentage is split between the school and family. The amount for the family is credited to your tuition account. PLEASE HELP BY PURCHASING SCRIP for your regular purchases. The pre-order form is attached. When you pre-order by Sunday (you can scan/take a picture and send to Martha Fierro at 287-2375) and your order will be ready in the school office by the following Thursday.
