    Reference is made to the interim Report dated June 30, 2006, I respectfully submit thisfinal report relative to our 2006 Legislative agenda.The following measures have been acted on by the Governor as indicated.

    S6624A (Golden) - Amends RSSL , relates to presumptive eligibility for anaccidental disability for injury or illness related to tbe terrorist attack on 9-11-01with respect to correction members of NYCERS Chapter 102/06-13-0683593 (Leibell) - Amends RSSL to increase amount of money ret irees may earn ina position of public service in tbe year 2007 and tbereafter to $30,000. Chapter .74/6-07-06S6476(Robach) - Amends CSL in relation to the authority of PERB Chapter.83/6-07-0686397 (Farley) - Prohibits the diminution of health insurance benefits of publicemployees and their dependents under certain conditions from May 1, 2006 toMay 15, 2007 Vetoed. 218/6-21-06AI0731(Abbate) - Amends RSSL - requires sworn statements for presumptiveeligibility for accidental disabilities occu rring as a result of the terrorist attacks on9-11-01. Chapter 444/ 08-14-06A830B (Ortiz) - Requires that the custody and supervision of s ta te and localinmates be exercised by certain police officers; prohibits private ownership oroperation of state or local correctional facilities. Vetoed 243/07-26-0687903 (Spano) - CSL - provides for Independent Hearing Officer for disciplinarybearings when employee faces dismissal. Vetoed 285/07-26-06
