Perfetti Van Melle (PVM) is a privately owned company and one of the world’s
largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum in
more than 150 countries worldwide.
Employing almost 18.000 people and operating 37 companies throughout the
world, Perfetti Van Melle has a true global reach: it is present in the Asia Pacif ic
Region, Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Americas.
The industrial adventure of Perfetti Van Melle began many years ago, but it was
in March 2001 that the current Group was set up through the merger of Perfetti
Spa and Van Melle N.V. In July 2006 the Group acquired the Spanish company
Chupa Chups S.A., famous all over the world for its lollypops.

Perfetti Van Melle is looking for a
Global Talent Management Director The Global Talent Management Director drives the development of group programs
supporting the attraction, development and retention of internal and external
talent and designs and implements processes for effective talent management
in collaboration with business leaders and the regional and country HR teams.
This person will have a crucial role in the transformation of Perfetti Van Melle and
needs to be able to think holistically and providing the right advice to support
senior leaders. He/She should also have excellent communication and influencing
skills, with the ability to get things done through the internal network, by aligning
all the stakeholders and leveraging key relationship within the company. This is
a unique opportunity that has become available within the global team of Perfetti
van Melle, as the current incumbent has advanced to another internal position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Embed the business, corporate and HR leaders with the Perfetti Van Melle
talent management processes: identif ication of high or early career potential
talent pipeline gaps and remedies, succession planning for core functions
• Utilize the Perfetti Van Melle leadership profile and integrate into the core HR
processes: recruitment, performance management, talent planning, learning and reward
and recognition
• Use the global Perfetti Van Melle leadership program supporting the leadership profile,
the business model, and the values of the organization.
• Implement the Perfetti Van Melle employer value proposition and employer branding
guidelines
• Support Perfetti Van Melle participation and action planning with employee engagement
tools related to for instance; Great Place to Work and Top Employer.
• Ensure full alignment and coordination with all Leadership initiatives and the overall
company change and culture narrative.
• Translate strategic choices from the People and Culture bold moves into a set of pragmatic
initiatives that further enable the development of the culture of Perfetti Van Melle.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE • 12+ years of professional HR experience in progressively more responsible
HR positions focusing on talent development, learning and performance
management.Brings in depth talent management experience with a good
knowledge of assessments tools and methodologies.
• Experience in complex multinational environment. Experience in talent acquisition
and organizational development in a global marketing and manufacturing driven
environment.
• 3+ years of international experience, managing projects across multiple countries
and cultures.
• Bachelors or master’s degree, ideally in business and/or HR

With background in Psychology, Hasti Esfandiyari brings ten years of experience from top executive
search firms. Prior to KennedyFitch Hasti was Global Senior Associate for the Consumer Practice
at Spencer Stuart and go-to person for the largest, most senior international roles in the consumer
sector. Here she was responsible for the global key strategic clients across FMCG, fashion and luxury.
Additionally she was Associate Practice Leader for Marketing & Sales Officers, where she gained a
deep understanding of the interplay between the marketing, sales and communications functions
across industries. Hasti advised and worked with a broad range of organizations to recruit and assess
individual leaders and build integrated teams. Originally from Iran, Hasti grew up in Sweden and studied
in the UK. She moved to the Netherlands nine years ago when she joined Spencer Stuart.
