GO WEST CRAFT FEST! Join Jay for an ALL-REQUEST SET at NOON. LOCATION: The Woodlands, 40th and Woodland in West Philly, FREE. Go West is a full day of family fun, 11am to 5pm. Jay will perform at noon. Call out your favorite songs from music class and Jay will sing 'em! Rain date April 26.

RABBI GERSHOM SIZOMU OF THEABAYUDAYA (JEWISH) COMMUNITY OFEASTERN UGANDA TREATS US TO A PROGRAM OF FAMILY-FRIENDLY UGANDAN SONGS

LOCATION: Calvary Center for Culture and Community, 48th andBaltimore in West Philly , 10am, FREEJoin All Around This World, Kol Tzedek (the West Philly syanagogue) and the Children's Community School, with support from Jkid Philly, in welcoming Rabbi Gershom of the Abayudaya community of Eastern Uganda. Gershom will introduce his fascinating African Jewish community, sing family-friendly songs (with Jay accompanying him), and answer your questions about a family's life in Uganda. GERSHOM CO-WROTE “WE ARE HAPPY,” the hello and goodbye song you know from your All Around This World classes. Fun for all ages.

BHANGRA!! DANCE DANCE DANCE TO PUNJABI MUSIC IN THIS EXPERIENTIAL WORKSHOP FOR KIDS WITH ALLARH MASS JAWANI, DREXEL'S “ALL GIRLS” BHANGRA/GIDDHA TEAM. LOCATION: International House, 3701 Chestnut St., 2pm

COST: $5 per participant, children under 2 and I-House members FREEBhangra is a modern form of celebratory group dance, inspired by folk

dances Indian and Pakistani Punjab. You and your kids will not possibily have any more fun than you'll find at this family-friendly workshop led by Allarh Mass Jawani.
