Looking Ahead
The current newbuilding market is extremely challenging, many
shipbuilders are struggling to secure new orders and pressure on
pricing is expected to continue. Global shipyard output is projected to
fall in 2017 as the order backlog declines, and lack of firm orders
expected to remain firm.
