Case Study
Who: LH Martin Institute
� The LH Martin Institute for Higher Education Leadership and
Management (LHMI) was established with the support of the
Commonwealth Government to enhance tertiary education in Australia
and New Zealand. It specialises in postgraduate award programmes,
executive education, research and consultancy.
In order for the institute to
effectively reach its intended
demographic across the nation and
other parts of the world, it decided
to adopt on-line learning as a key
strategy.
What: Moving from face-to-face education to on-line learning
� U21Global played a consultancy role in LHMI’s preparation of its
content to our ‘3A’ standard.
� In a quick-to-market timeframe of less than eight weeks, we re-
designed the content with built-in standards for interoperability and re-
usability, and uploaded it in LHMI’s installed learning management
system (LMS).
� U21Global further provided familiarisation training for facilitators,
which included tips on communication, establishing an on-line presence,
and the use of on-line tools.
