In it is a schedule of events and information about the missionaries coming to share their ministries during GIC. Be sure and study the proposed budget and begin praying about how you will Pray, Give and Go in the upcoming missions year.

One of the most important services during Global Impact Celebration (GIC) is our Wednesday Night Prayer Service. There will be quiet music.

During this three hour period, you are encouraged to come whenever it suits your schedule, spend time in prayer for GIC and leave when you are ready.

GIC is an important event on our calendar. This is a time for us to renew our commitment to the Great Commission and be encouraged and inspired by our missionary guests. It is a time when we have the opportunity to inspire and encourage those missionaries who come to share with us and renew their spirits as they return to the field. It is important to cover all these events and opportunities in prayer. It is a time when we open our hearts to hear what the Holy Spirit has to say to us about how we should Give, Go and Pray in the upcoming year.

Join us in praying for this year’s GIC and how He is leading you through this event.

Led by Pastor Lynn Hyatt weekly in the Chapel

Brother Lynn leads a weekly Bible study that usually centers upon a theme that will run for several weeks. Recent multi-week themes have included; books of the Bible, people of the Bible, doctrines of the Bible to name a few. This weekly study is appropriate for all believers, whether you have been a Christian several days or several years.

Currently this study is focused on the basic disciplines of the Christian life.

Many times these sessions allow for questions and discussion and provide an excellent opportunity to hear our Pastor in a more casual setting.

“Kids Worship for Life”  provides opportunities for all children to connect with God through musical expression, art activities, Bible study and group interaction.

There are two levels; K4-1st Grade and 2nd-5th Grades. Both groups should register upstairs in the Educational Building.

UpdateChildren’s Word of Life Bible Clubs will be moving from Sunday Nights at 6:30 to Wednesday Nights at 6:45 beginning August 23.

That’s right! Olympians (Grades 1-5) and Gopher Buddies (K4-Kindergarten) will be moving to Wednesday!

Kid’s Worship for Life will move to Sunday Nights at 6:30 PM on August 27.

Megan RobbinsIMB Missionary

Megan Robbins spent her summers in college working with the North American Mission Board interning with church plants in the US. The summer before her senior year in college she served in Queens, NY. In serving that widely diverse community, the Lord grew her heart for the nations and through much prayer, directed her to apply to the International Mission Board. She was approved and asked to serve in West Africa.

In the field, she teaches Bible and English as a foreign language to adults. She also helps coordinate volunteer teams in her city. This month she will have completed her two year term and will return to the US to attend seminary and prepare for further service.

David McRee is the pastor of a new church plant in the new Wildlight community just north of Yulee. He and his wife grew up in the area and God has given them a heart for the people there.

David was saved at 12 years of age when during a Wednesday night service a youth leader gave his testimony.

David and Tiffany have a new son Walt, who is just six months old. David is working as a insurance agent while growing the church.

Pray for David and Tiffany as they build a church and for Tiffany specifically as she is dealing with some serious health issues.
