3. Global Double Degree Program at STUT

1. A double degree program, sometimes called a conjoint degree, dual degree, or simultaneous degree program, involves a student working for two different university degrees in parallel, either at the same institution or at different institutions (sometimes in different countries), completing them in less time than it would take to earn them separately.

2. The two degrees might be in the same subject area (especially when the course is split between countries) or in two different subjects.

1. STUT has signed 16 double degree programs with 11 partner universities since 2005. There are 15 double master degree and one double Ph.D. degree programs.

2. Totally, twenty-three students have been conferred a double master degree. Presently, eleven students are still pursuing double degrees.

Double Degree Program at STUT

The goal of STUT is to be an internationalized university in terms of academic research and higher education.

STUT is constantly encouraging students to study abroad, especially to pursue simultaneous foreign degrees. Hence, it is important to strengthen on double degree programs.

The current developments of double degree programs at STUT are only for outbound students. However, STUT offers five English-taught graduate programs. In the future, STUT will begin recruiting inbound students to pursue double degrees.
