We, at RAKIA, are extremely pleased to co-host the first Global Arab BusinessMeeting, in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. On behalf of Ras Al Khaimah andRAK Investment Authority, I take this opportunity to invite Arab Businessleaders and their global counterparts to share their thoughts and discuss onthe various economic issues and also to bring in to light the Arab firms’ rise to global prominence.
RAKIA as a government body has been responsible for attracting foreigndirect investment for the Government of Ras Al Khaimah.This meetingwould also be a dominant platform for the business leaders to exchange theirviews and understanding the business dynamics of the region, especially ofRas Al Khaimah. Even amidst the global financial crisis, there has been a steadyincrease of companies registered under RAKIA.Thus proving that UAE as awhole and RAK in particular has solid competitive advantages unmatched inthe region to support growth and attract investments.
