Nepali flag is not rectangular like other country flags. It appears as two triangles being attached to a vertical line. The top triangle has the image of Moon while the bottom triangle has the image of Sun.

The flag of Nepal consists of a crimson/red base that is outlined in blue. The crimson/red color is a traditional Nepalese color and the blue outlined edge represents the country's peaceful nature.

Bishwakarma Puja, KAMI SHERPA

This means a special Kali puja along with a lot of additional prayer and ceremony. Chickens and goats will be sacrificed and then, of course, cooked and eaten.

Every khukuri will be blessed, every piece of equipment will be blessed, even our four forges will be blessed. To tell you the truth there will be blood all over the shop but this is a most important ritual to the kamis and in their tradition it is simply something that must be done.
