/ 22nd May 2020 Green Industries SA is inviting applications for the latest round of the Food Waste Incentives grant program, and applications close on Friday, 12 June 2020. The Kerbside Performance Plus – Food Waste Incentives grants assist councils to provide programs that divert food waste from landll and move us closer to achieving the targets set out in South Australia’s Waste Strategy 2015-2020. The grant program encourages councils to consider introducing a program that will be accessible to all residents and seeks to maximise participation by the community. The grants program will provide councils with a one-o payment representing up to 50% of the cost of food waste diversion systems (including kitchen caddies, educational material and delivery) up to a maximum of $10 per serviced tenement. A new feature of the grants program is that it will also meet 100% of the cost of compostable bags (where required). The grants program may further oset the cost of providing food waste systems through a performance-based incentive. Councils may also submit proposals for the support of backyard composting systems and related education programs. Council sta can submit applications immediately and seek council endorsement within three months of funding conrmation. Further information is available in the grant program guidelines. Green Industries SA is inviting applications for the latest round of the Food Waste Incentives grant program,and applications close on Friday, 12 June 2020.

The Kerbside Performance Plus – Food Waste Incentives grants assist councils to provide programs that divertfood waste from land�ll and move us closer to achieving the targets set out in South Australia’s WasteStrategy 2015-2020.
