A very enriching day for Annette Gillingham & myself with the Bangladesh team - got to visit some of the urban work by our partner DSK. It included a visit to a pre-intervention community, a community where DSK had worked for 3 years, a school WASH initiative and a public toilet at a busy bus terminal (the first one ever done!). Impressive indeed - as always, the dynamism and the optimism of the people in Bangladesh is very inspiring! Met with a women's group and an adolescent girls group who were having a menstrual hygiene management session. The latter was a bunch of very enthusiastic girls - one of them wanted to be a doctor, another an engineer and a third one wanted to migrate to Bangkok!
