The Europakreuz (European cross) on Alberfeldkogel can be

reached with an easy hike and provides fantastic views of the en-tire Salzkammergut up to the Dachstein glacier.

Höllkogel or you canscale the Alberfeldkogelvia the HTL xed ropes

ers, athletes and walkers, wherethe Salzkammergut is at its loveli-est. From lake Gosausee the ca-ble car glides toward the unusualcrags of the Gosaukamm, takingguests into a realm of inviting

Alpine lodges and hiking routeswhich provide plenty of variety.Experienced, passionate hikers

are happy here, as too are those who walk at a more leisurelypace, and those who really enjoy stopping off in an Alpine lodge.On the best signposted hiking routes cross Alpine meadows, youget to hike through dark mountain forests, where you can keep

going for two to three hours, or even for several days at time.

The especially athletic can tackle the challenging Intersport xed

ropes route on the Donnerkogel! Rustic alpine lodges invite toput in a break and sample the regional delicacies!
